So I've just set up a new Folksy shop as a number of sellers I've met lately at craft markets seem to be moving away from Etsy and using Folksy instead.
I'm glad to say that after only listing 3 items on Folksy just this week, I've just made my first sale ☺️.....which if anyone who sells on Etsy knows how hard it is to get seen on it!
Anyway I'm hoping it's not a fluke and I'm going to take a chance and slowly move all my stock over to Folksy.
For those of you who've never heard of it ( and I hadn't) it's a UK only selling site for crafter's and artists and has very low cost to the seller as compared to Etsy and only hand made items are allowed. Win win for everyone I think.

Been rustling up these new beauties to add to my Etsy shop today. All 3 designs are made from hammering the spoon flat and then wrapping the stem around the bowl to create these fully wrapped spoon rings.
The spoons are vintage Swedish demitasse spoons

I loved getting my blow torch out and creating some chunky silver bracelets out of these beautiful vintage Kings Pattern cake forks.
I'll be selling these at Wateringbury community market this Sunday 19th May between 10.30-1.30 pm

I've had a little break from Jewellery making for a couple of weeks as I wanted to diversify my shop and add a few new additions.

I've been busy making these decoupaged and painted shells which would be a perfect holder for one of my lovely rings 😉.

They are made from Discarded Scallop and Oyster shells which my local fishmonger was throwing away so I thought I'd do a bit of upcycling and create something beautiful out of them, whilst stopping them entering landfill.

Each one has been decoupaged on the interior surface and then edged with gold paint. Each shell is then finished with a clear varnish to seal the surface.
Perfect for a decorative touch to your home or for keeping your precious trinkets in. Would make a lovely mother's day gift too 🎁

Each shell is different and will have imperfections on the rear surface which adds to it's charm.

I will be selling them for £7.95 each or £15 for 2.
Postage is via Evri and will be £2.99 extra

Found this lovely set of 6 demitasse coffee spoons in the wonderful Whitstabubble vintage shop in Whitstable yesterday. In 24 years of living in Kent I've never visited Whitstable but I can now say that you should believe the hype.... What a beautiful and chilled out place.
