This monster of a extension is up to damp and we already formed two of the steps, three more steps to go.

Over the last few months I’ve been working on this old shop in rainham and transformed it into a luxury office space.

Another big weekend working at , laying the 45q meter flooring all in one day nearly took me out I was in a bad way until I got a nice big pizza inside of me but it was ok I was back in the box at 5:30am the next day to install all the architraves and skirting and put up the shelves next to the new big fridge.

Now time for a nice big roast dinner.

9 days so far and I’ve ripped this shop apart and changed it into 3 offices, toilet, kitchen and waiting room, electrics and plumbing first fixed and all plaster boarded ready for me to start plastering tomorrow,

Another small porch refurb done this week, anthracite grey composite front door, side window, plaster boarded, spotlights and plastered.

Insurance job in new barn coming along nicely, last week my roofer replaced the roof with all new boards and felt and this week I’ve installed spot lights, repaired the ceiling and plastered.

Nice big plastering job done this week, bedroom, living room, bathroom, kitchen and hallway repairs.

Had to repair this old roof today for a insurance job. New timbers joist, new osb boards and three layer felt. Next week I’ve got to repair their kitchen ceiling and paint the room.

This customer I have got a lot of time for, nick and his wife Donna are such amazing people and not only did I build their rear kitchen extension they also had me back to build them one of the most amazing porches I’ve done so far, to their friendly approach and full understanding thing can happen, they believed and trusted me every step and the outcome of their projects are breath taking.

A local builder got in touched with me and heard of my reputation and my quality of work, he mentioned on the phone he was behind on his project and needed the en-suites built asap, well that’s what my team did. 4 en-suites built, plumbed, electrics, bordered and plastered with in 5 days. It’s all about the right people and the right team, the tradesman I have around me are amazing from my bricklayers to my plumbers everyone of them work so hard.

It’s been a busy week, hand dig the 15 metres long and 1.2metres deep trench and all been signed off by building control and ready for concrete to pour on Friday.

That’s all the patio and concrete and finally at ground level, all ready to start digging the footings. Let’s hope the gods are kind and it’s a easy dig because it’s all got to be done by hand.

A brilliant review from another customer that over the past few years has become a good friend, installed a new kitchen, bathroom and refurbished his CrossFit gym. Can’t wait for his next project.

Review from the kitchen I done over Xmas, such a lovely lady really enjoyed working and listening to her stories of her life and friends. I got to admit a lot of body weight was added by all the teas and cakes but well worth it.

Well that’s this kitchen all finished, full rip out, whole new rewire, plumbing, new back door and windows, kitchen fitted, vinyl flooring, skirting, painting and Electrics all part p signed.

Was such a honour to do this kitchen for such a lovely lady, gonna miss the old girl but not for long soon be back to refurb her living area.

More reviews, this time from a cloak room toilet I did back in September, receiving feedback like this is the best way to show customers my work, yeah pictures are good but actual reviews don’t lie.

Another review I received over the Xmas break, even got a chance to take a photo of it at night, extensions always look better at night with the lights on. This project has turned out really great and it will make their life’s a lot easier with their new down stairs bathroom.

Well that’s 2023 all done, what a year it’s been and I’ve had a great opportunity to work with so many wonderful customers. All in one year…

4 cloak rooms bathrooms,
2 bathroom,
6 kitchens,
5 extensions,
1 garage conversion,
1 garden refurb,
full lounge refurb,
1 porch and
a gym refurb.

Im so grateful for all the work and if anyone is thinking of doing any sort of building work for 2024 please 🙏 pass my number around.

Kitchen I’ve been doing is coming along nicely, a few more bits to do then job done. Thanks to for laying the floor.

So that’s it on this porch, all handed over to their decorator. Once again it’s been a pleasure and privilege to have work with great customers, I did rear extension back in may and now they had me back to build this monster of a porch and I’m so happy to hear they love the finish.

Last job of the year started, full kitchen refurb.

This porch is coming along nice and fast, I’m not hanging around on this one, all built, electrics and insulation all done, now time to ply and board the thing. Love this job great house with fantastic customers.

Well that’s all the plastering finished and I even got the tiling done in the new down stairs toilet, turned out to be a good week.

That’s the extension all insulated and ply. Ready for plaster boarding next. Love a timber framed extension so much better and warmer.

So on this extension the old kitchen and dinning room has been taken back to nothing, all plumbing and electrics has been stripped back and new plumbing installed for the new wet room and kitchen island and all floor and joist has been removed ready for new. also the picture frame monster of a steel has been installed.

Finished this cloak room bathroom today, been doing it on the weekends for the father-in-law. Looks smart with the marble and black fittings.

That’s pretty much the out side done, all to be done is fascia once the felts been laid and cladding on the front once windows and doors turn up. Onwards with the inside now.

Job I’m doing on canvey island all dug out and ready for the raft foundations steels to be put in next week and hopefully filled, this one has been a challenging dig, all done by hand and 4 skips been used. A big thank you to James for the helping out today we smashed it.
