Nina Atkinson presents Hanging Heavy 3
On Tuesday, June 18th at 8pm (Finish at 8.30pm), at St Gregory’s Music Centre, Canterbury.
See the dancers, drift and shift between the lush greenery of the grounds to the top of the eaves of St Gregory’s. The space is transformed by flocks of dancers, fabric, lighting projections, the hazy summer sun, as they respond to the architecture - of a building straddling two identities in time.
It's going to be a sensory experience performed by a beautiful multi generational dancers of ages, 12 to over 80: Dancing together…breathing together…and feeling that sensation. See if you can feel it too? The sensation of hanging heavy.

Each event is an opportunity for young people to dive into the world of dance, through taking part in workshops with industry experts and perform in a huge curtain raiser piece.
