Scrappy granny is growing! Been at the stage where every round seems loooong for a while…few more rows then border time as I’ll have run out of the larger quantities needed for the long rows..determined not to break into any new balls of yarn for this one! Chores soon 😫 have a good Sunday all.

A change of plan for eldest’s day means a bit of car park crochet instead of driving here and back twice in 4 hours..I’m here for less than 2 instead. Started a new blanket last night. I’m in a ‘can’t settle on one project’ state at the moment…too busy a brain I think…so I finally decided on making another - pattern by . It’s grey and rainy here today..hope your outlook is brighter!

Help post! Fellow crafters…I’ve just had 9 listings for book sleeves and blankets removed from a selling site as they don’t allow ‘hand-crafted items’…despite the fact there are literally thousands of hand crafted items on there! So, where is best to sell these sort of items folks? I have an Etsy account but the fees are so high now and the market seems saturated so I’ve had very few sales this year…every time I post a photo on my facebook crochet page I get a bunch of messages from scammers 🤦‍♀️..anyone have any suggestions that have been successful please in the UK? 🙏.

Happy Sunday all! We’ve had a trip to town to get new trainers for the eldest…followed by a much needed coffee stop ☕️…blanket number 20 of this year which I’d forgotten to take photos of and post…I love the green bobble border on this one 💚.

Grabbing a quick half hour in the garden with cat 3…it’s lovely and hot when the sun comes out…and much more comfortable when it’s in! I’ve got plants that need putting in big pots, little plants grown from seed that need re-potting and a gazillion other things to do…but not right now! Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday.

It’s a disgustingly dreary, grey, rainy day here today…and it’s a work day too- such fun! In my lunch break I’m hoping to get another Pom Pom made - here’s a little snap of progress so far…once they’re all made, I just then have to see them to my border on my which is in its final stages of pattern testing by all the testers for ! Publication date is 22/5/24!

🌼April roundup🌼 ..can’t believe it’s the end of April already! It’s been a busy month…I finished the cal, made a scrappy granny large lap blanket, made a bunch of granny squares (I’m behind on my squares 🤦‍♀️), and I was lucky to be picked to pattern test the by Michelle ..I’ve almost finished one, and I’m going back to the first soon once the current progress has been blocked 🙂.

At the airport waiting for my niece to land!! ✈️ Haven’t seen her for about 5 years - not long to wait now!! Calming myself with another colourway version of the pattern test for of the lovely Dream Catcher Granny Square Blanket 🙂👏🏻👏🏻.

Hello weekend! It’s way too early again…cat 3 has been doing parkour since 5 am, taking running jumps onto me from the floor and the bedside table, running up and down the stairs, standing on my hair purring and being a general attention seeker! Good morning! Happy Saturday (at last 😰). The scrappy granny is growing! Out of my comfort zone with the colours, but I’ve made a determined effort to dial back on the brights and attempt a more muted palette…sort of 😂.

Bit of car crochet whilst eldest meets his new art teacher. Look..blue sky!!! (Ignore the clouds, I’m focusing on the blue bit! 😂).

New scrappy blanket on the go…think the cat is exhausted from sleeping all day so she’s having a long power nap on my lap 😂😂..feels like Autumn here again so think that’s influenced my colour picks! 🤔😆.

I’ve finished the Boho Rainbow CAL! Mine isn’t exactly the same as the pattern as I’ve used a different joining technique and my border is different. This one is a whopping 59 x 74”!
