We now have a cycling club!

Anyone who knows our director well will know that he is a keen cyclist.

Our riders are currently training for the infamous 'Dragon Ride: Medio Fondo'—157 km of gruelling hills through the Brecon Beacons, taking place on Sunday, 22nd June 2025.

Joshua will be taking part in this event to raise money for SNAP Charity , a cause close to his heart. Last year, we raised £1,032, and this year he has set himself a target of £2,000.

From Tuesday 2nd April developers of small sites will need to deliver a Biodiversity Net Gain of 10% minimum on the site they are developing.

This means that your development will need to result in an improvement to the quality of natural habitat on your site than there was before your development.

Small scale developments are ones which:

- Propose between 1 - 9 Dwellings of 1 hectare or less.
- Sites less than 0.5 hectares where the number of dwellings is yet to be determined.
- Commercial development which will create less than 1,000 square metres.
- Commercial development on a site of less than 1 hectare.

A metric calculator has been created to determine how many habitat units are needed to achieve the 10%.

Question is who actually understands how to navigate this legislation? We are currently looking to develop a way of making it easier to communicate this new responsibility with our developer clients and would be interested to hear from others who are looking to do the same.
