💖 MY PASSION 💖
Making little clothes is my passion, I cannot even begin to explain the joy it brings to me 💖
But with my full time job I just haven't got the energy to indulge in my passion so I've decided to close for a while.
I've barely had chance to step into my sewing room since I started my job back in May 2023 & if Im being perfectly honest my etsy shop has been in holiday mode since this time last year.
Who knows maybe I'll open up again in the summer but for now I'm sadly saying goodbye 💖

But getting into the Christmas spirit on Saturday with some festive wreath making has ignited my creative spark once more 💖
I love making & creating & I hope 2024 is the year I can fit this love of mine back into my life again full & whole heartedly x

Who is Bella and Bertie Handmade?

Bella & Bertie Handmade is a handmade clothing brand for little loves; a small business run by me, Maryellen Aitken. I have spent several years now, designing the clothing range, choosing fabrics and sending my unique handmade clothing out into the world.

The pictures and images I get sent to me, taken by proud parents and grandparents, of their little ones in Bella & Bertie clothing, really gives me a thrill. To see my unique creations being worn and enjoyed really makes my day.

Since launching Bella & Bertie, the business has started to grow and as a person I have grown too. I have noticed several other Bella & Bertie accounts popping up on here about buildings & puppies and I felt like it was time to make us stand out for who we really are (& when I say we I really mean just me because that's basically all there is behind this brand 😂)

So as I sit at my cutting table with my trusty scissors, trimming fabric for a new design, I hope you can find a place in a little persons wardrobe for a unique handmade creation.
