We’ve been talking about it, you’ve been asking for it.

On Sunday September 22nd we will be opening early and showing the entire Lord of the Rings Extended Edition trilogy on our 100” projector.

Why September 22nd? It’s Frodo and Bilbo’s birthday!! 🥳

In its entirety - 11 hours 22minutes runtime.

We’ll open at 10:30 and start the films at 11am, with an expected end time of 22:22. Credits will be cut from the first two films for a full immersive experience!

Cosplay welcome! 🧙‍♂️

Feel free to bring a cushion for added comfort, and you’re welcome to bring/order in food. We’ll grab a load of popcorn too!

This Saturday, our bar manager will be playing in the Div 2 National Final with from midday.

We will be live streaming the game on our 100inch projector to get behind the team and cheer Ryan on.

Announcing our third Annual Oktoberfest party!

Join us on Friday October 4th, for a night of celebrations.
We’ll have plenty of your German fest beer favourites on tap (And bottle!), aswell as snacks.

Game night returns next week with another night of Jackbox games!
These have been fairly popular so far, and it’s easy to come down and play, bring your phone, join the room code on the projector, and you’re good to go!

Then this is a new night for you!

Inspired by our quiz, everyone decided this is a night we should do.

First up is the 1988 not so classic ‘Hell Comes To Frogtown’ starring Rowdy Roddy Piper as your hero Sam Hell.

We’ve agreed terms with another band that were really excited to have play at Radio City for the first time, but are looking to add an extra band as well to join and to make Friday a night to remember!

Your favourite haunt in Chelmsford is turning 2!

Hard to believe we opened nearly 2 years ago. We are so proud of the community we’ve built around the bar, and we look forward to growing it even more in our next year and making many new friends!

Speaking of new friends, joining us on Friday 19th to kick off our Anniversary weekender is the wonderful who we met in the French Alps. Matt rarely plays in England these days so getting him to the bar is really special!

Following that on Saturday 20th sees the return of Radio City ‘house band’ with their Party Crashers set of acoustic covers. As ever there will likely be some form of carnage associated with a WTF show.

We will also have an exclusive Tap Takeover made up of favourite beers chosen by our team at Radio City Social, with everyone choosing a single keg of a beer style and brewery they love.

Time to announce the lineup for August!

This is going to be an absolute banger, you are not going to want to miss this.

Joining us on August 30th are:

This years Essex Metal to the Masses winner Reverent Son will be here, and they’ll be hot off their performance on the New Blood Stage at this year’s Bloodstock Festival! If you’re at Bloodstock make sure to go and support them, and then see them in a more intimate setting when they come to us!

Joining them will be the amazing who also were finalists in this year’s Metal To The Masses! You can go and check out their amazing new EP ‘Lethal Reflection’ now!

We also have local gang containing Radio City’s own Zac, Maddie and Stephen! This will be their first outing as so make sure to come down and give them some support.

The fact both bands start with fallen was a coincidence I promise.
