Throwback to one of our standout projects from 2017! We had the pleasure of creating seamless surface finishes for over 1500m² of floors, walls, and other surfaces within a private spa and residence in the UK.

Using the Kerakoll Cementoresina in warm collection colours, we transformed the space over the course of 10 weeks. Our work included the swimming pool surround, pilates studio, steam room, sauna, treatment room, male and female changing rooms, including showers and wet drains.

This project is a testament to our commitment to quality and attention to detail in creating beautiful, seamless surfaces.

Another stunning Microcement installation, this time in the beautiful area of Chislehurst.

We transformed both floors and walls within this exquisite property using Microcement. The finishes were meticulously applied at just 2-3mm to the prepared substrate, achieving completion in under four days from primer to the finishing sealers. The result is a space with a refined tone, texture, and subtle variations that emulate the elegance of a traditional concrete effect.

We previously had the pleasure of working on a remarkable project at Royal Albert Wharf, London. Our team installed a stunning blue resin floor, creating a vibrant and fresh look for the commercial space.

The installation covered 130m² in the main area and 27m² on the first floor. Our work involved several stages to prepare the substrates, ensuring a high-quality finish.

Our PU Resin Comfort Floor was applied in RAL 5012, perfectly complementing the design scheme and achieving an outstanding finish.

Cleaning Resin Floors: A Comprehensive Guide

Resin floors are a popular choice for many homes and businesses, as they’re hard-wearing and easy to maintain. However, resin floors can become dull and discoloured if not looked after properly.

As with many floors, regular cleaning and maintenance are essential to maintain their good condition and ensure they last for years.
Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to clean resin floors.

1. Preparation
The first step in cleaning resin floors is to prepare the working area. Start by removing any furniture and other items to ensure the floors are clear and access is easy. Next, vacuum or sweep the floor to remove any dirt and debris from the floors.

2. Cleaning & Mopping
Once the area is free from dirt and debris, it’s time to clean the floor. It is recommended to start with a low-alkaline resin floor cleaning fluid such as Mapei Ultracare Multicleaner, specifically designed for resin floors which should be used in minimum quantities with warm, clean water.

It is also essential that a clean microfibre mop is used and regularly rinsed out throughout the process to avoid any streaks and to ensure the floors are fully cleaned. It is recommended to avoid using too much water, this can saturate the floors and lead to longer drying times and watermarks.

3. Stubborn Marks & Intensive Cleaning
Any stubborn heel marks or dirt may require extra attention and gently cleaning with a white pad to remove, ensuring not to abrade too hard.

In higher traffic and commercial areas is recommended that regular mechanical cleaning regimes are adopted to ensure that the surface is kept clean and stubborn dirt is removed.

4. Regular Cleaning & Maintenance
Regular cleaning & maintenance is the key to keeping resin floors looking their best. Regularly sweep and mop the floor to remove dirt and debris.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to keep your resin floors looking their best for years and ensure that the floor lasts for a long time and remains in good condition.

5. Resin Floor Refinishing
Resin floors can often be refinished to make the surface look brand new again. This process would usually involve cleaning, degreasing and abrading the existing floor, making any notable repairs to scratches, holes or cracks. A new resin application would then be applied to the surface in either the same colour or change to a new colour and then sealers would be applied.

This process can usually be undertaken within 2-3 days with stunning results.

Working closely with Image Interiors on the new fit-out of the Brunner UK Clerkenwell showroom, we had the pleasure of installing the new Magma Coatings microcement to the bar display areas.

Many discussions and planning were required in advance of the project and during the preparation stages to ensure that all datums were met and that the detailed brass trim was met perfectly.

Magma Coatings was chosen as the microcement system of choice due to ease of use, fast curing, extreme hardness and resistance to water and liquids.

The complete system was installed over 4 days, which upon completion resulted in the stunning finish shown in the images below.

Working closely with LLI Design, we were able to specify and install our renowned MicroCrete® microcement system throughout an exquisite penthouse in Hamstead, London.

Many discussions and planning were required in advance of the project and during the preparation requirements to ensure that all datums were met and that the introduction of shadow gaps around wall / floor perimeters were all correctly installed with the same depths.

The MicroCrete system was installed over a 6-day period which, upon completion, was absolutely stunning and a testament to the high-quality workmanship we strive to reach daily.

A stunning 10mm high end commercial polished overlay installed at the Mining Museum in Deal, Kent recently.

Working closely with the main contractor, the finishes were chosen to mimic a clean, modern, contemporary concrete effect whist being durable, slip resistant and in keeping with the design aesthetics.

Applied over two floors in 300m2, the substrates were initially prepared before the 10mm overlay was applied. Once cured polished and sealed to a honed finish.
