This we're celebrating the great work of Hearing Help Essex. We've supported them for years, most recently with a multi-thousand pound grant earlier this year. if you struggle with your hearing, they're a great resource.

Community Fund grant sounding better than ever! - Chelmsford Star - The Co-operative Chelmsford Star Co-ops latest Community Fund Grant goes to Hearing Help Essex, supporting those with hearing loss in the local area.

George Yard Shopping Centre
Adrian from our Broomfield Road branch is at George Yard Shopping Centre today, along with volunteers from The Royal British Legion.

It's and we're looking at which describes itself as a 'pre-loved children's boutique. They received a grant worth several thousand pounds from us earlier this year.

Offering low cost clothing and equipment options at its Lakeside shop (or free items to those flagged by professionals) it also takes any donations if you're looking for somewhere worthwhile to take items your own little one has grown out of. We can't recommend them enough!

This we've found an old photo of our Trent Road food store taken in the 1960's, not long after the estate was built. We've never seen it without any cars in front before! Does anyone remember the estate being built?
