I need to share something frustrating and disappointing. A project called Dice Bites is falsely claiming that our DiceBomb™ bath bombs are made with their moulds.
This is not true!!
We don’t use their moulds have not worked with them and have not given permission for them to be used in their kickstarter or adverts.

I’ve asked them to remove my bath bombs from images and videos, but they haven’t complied. This is false advertising and misleading as the finished products will not look as advertised.

This breaks the rules of Kickstarter since this is "misleading imagery" and I don't want anyone getting caught out in this or thinking that they are getting geekyclean products :(

Hello, Geekies,

As we navigate through this new year, it's become more evident how much your support means to Charly, Matt and me at GeekyClean. It's been a challenging journey, filled with both unexpected hurdles and moments of growth. Today, I want to share what has been happening, embracing openness and honesty.

Firstly, we've faced a few bumps along the road, including fraud issues with our postage account leading to a significant unexpected bills we're still addressing, and challenges brought on by my chronic illness which have slowed me down but I'm coping and pacing. We faced challenges stemming from decisions made by a previous staff member that did not align with our goals. This situation was unexpected and required us to adapt and overcome. While it was a difficult period, it has ultimately strengthened our resolve and taught us invaluable lessons about teamwork and the importance of aligning with our core values

Additionally, our mailing list was compromised, sending out hundreds of thousands of spam emails to strangers that led to bad reviews and nasty emails because people assumed we were scammers! We deeply regret any inconvenience this caused and have taken measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

But it's not just about overcoming challenges; it's about how we grow and connect through them. Unlike big stores, we want to share the real, human side of GeekyClean with you. We're learning to be more vulnerable, to show you the faces behind the scenes, and to share the realities of running a small, passionate geeky business. It's a journey filled with highs and lows, but every step is a story we share with you, our beloved community.

We're on the path to recovery and improvement, slowly but surely getting back to full working order. Your understanding and support have been incredible and are what make this journey so rewarding. Please never hesitate to email us if you ever have questions.
We've adjusted our subscription box shipping schedule to the end of the month, aiming to ensure every package is sent on time and with the utmost care and love.
