Upstroke Decorating

In the next round as we beat English Bicknor on penalties. We were down 2-0 but were having the better game and had chances cleared of line. We got one back on the stroke of half time and carried on the same in the second half and got the second goal that we deserved. We pushed and looked to get a 3rd but it didn’t come.

A few before and after photos of the last few phases from Eastington Park, including the hallways up to the bridal suite, the bridal suite bedroom, the adjoined dressing room and the garden room.

All were originally sort of a magnolia/cream colour but have given them a brand new look with the works we’ve done over the weeks. We are really happy with how they have turned out, the job in a whole has been great we will post our favourites at a later date.

Our next stage at Eastington Park, the bar and dining room. As with the previous photos from the venue the pictures don’t do justice to how well the colours go together. The off white dado rail breaks up the two colours and the slight change of the bar really looks smart.

We had one week to get this done before the next viewing day and again we delivered on time it took some long hours and lots of hard work but we got there. The owner is very happy again and the staff love the changes so all in all another good week! On to the next from Monday.

Stage 1 of 5 completed today! We are currently painting the lovely Eastington Park, the ceremony room needed a new look to it and even the wallpaper removal was a massive change as it had been up for 10 years!

The colour below the dado rail really stands out well and the wooden panels on the wall being just a few shades lighter than the walls was also a really nice feature that made the room look and feel very elegant.

A really enjoyable first week back, we had a deadline of today and we finished with plenty of time to spare so that the next viewings would get to enjoy the new look room.

Last private job of the year was this lovely sitting room at the large hotel we will be painting in the new year, we have really enjoyed the planning and care it takes to paint at hotels working around events they have on, in this case we had 3 evenings spare to complete before the next wedding👍🏼

A job we finished working in the evenings before Christmas, we spent 5 weeks of evenings working long hours to get this lovely 8 room b&b ready for opening! Lots of photos to show off all the different colours of some of the rooms the hall stairs and landing and panneling etc.

We loved this job and are moving onto paint a large hotel in the new year, pics of our next project that we also did before Christmas at that hotel to follow in next post.

Another job wrapped up💯🎨
Over the bank holiday weekend we got this room ready for a customer, we’ve painted a lot of rooms at this clients home and this was the final one. They are so happy to have everything finished.

Windows here needed a fair bit of TLC, bottom ones were particularly beaten, so after a great few days of weather we were able to get them looking smart again. The front door needed the cracks raking out and filling and 2 coats of Invisible Green and is now looking really sharp.

Photos of our jobs over the last couple of weeks, clients have been really happy with all we’ve done for them. Including a large kitchen extension, windows, facia boards, gate and pillars. Really enjoyed this one as the colours are very bright and will be lovely during the coming summer months with all the natural light that it will get.

Working away in Chester a dinning room for a hotel. A very smart colour scheme that is perfect for what will be a great looking dining room when the flooring is down.

All paints are little green colours mixed up into Johnstones durable Matt and eggshell!

All these sash windows needed a fair bit of TLC flaky paint to be removed and filled. the fresh coat of paint really makes them pop. Customer is very happy with how they look💯👍🏼

So many great colours and wallpaper designs really makes the work that bit more entertaining from our point and it was a job we’d be happy to do all over again.

Lovely finish to the hall stairs and landings of these flats. The grey on the decretive coving really pops with the white and lighter bone white wall colour.

Got the whole team working on this to get it done as quickly as we could for residents, they are all very happy.

Two of the larger rooms completed at the hotel we are currently decorating. Really bold colours and wallpaper really make these rooms stand out. Sticking to the time frame per phase is a tough but enjoyable part of the job but something the team are happy to work towards.

All wrapped up, we were really happy with how this came along and the customers are really happy with the finish. The colours look really good together.

Job Done! Very Busy weekend getting this all ready for the races! Looks great now it has all been set up.

Colour is farrow and ball Indian yellow mixed into dulux vinyl matt. It all goes really well together and the clients very happy.

Little project completed, putting on downwards panelling as well as changing the colour of the other walls to white to make the feature wall pop!

Finished this hall stairs and landing in a shadow white farrow and ball, as well as a small games room also in farrow and ball green blue. Finally the bedroom which was another farrow and ball colour vert de terre. All woodwork sanded back and undercoated followed with a dulux satinwood brilliant white.

Customer is very happy with the change and the speed the team worked at.

Yesterday we finished a beautiful home out towards Stroud.

The customer was let down by another firm so we had to jump in and save the day. They were delighted with how it all turned out.

The pictures don’t do the wallpaper justice it makes the room so much more homely. And the colours in each of the rooms all went perfectly.

The before and afters of a shell of a house turned into a home, a huge amount of work went into this from scrapping the wallpaper in every room to applying a huge amount of filling on the walls but after all the hard work the customer was happy with the changes which is what we strive for!
