Lucie and I finished this beautiful bedroom and en-suite yesterday, an absolute pleasure to work in such a stunning Cotswold house.

We used Edward Bulmer Natural Paint Clove 60%.

Plus I had the loveliest message from my client after I’d left …

“We’re so chuffed with how it looks. Thank you so much! You really are another level and your attention to detail is 📍👌🏼🔝💃🏽 “

Last week I had a lot of fun with frog tape creating this lovely boys nursery.

I absolutely love this kind of project, super fun and great to think it’ll really be enjoyed.

All paints are from Lick in an eggshell finish so practical and scrubbable too.

A recent lovely project, we’re seeing lots of media units and panelling at the moment which we love, check out this beauty, before and after… mega storage, all cables hidden and a super fun look for a family space, painted by Girl With a Brush Lucie 🫶🧡

I often find customers are surprised we can paint PVC doors - this is one I did yesterday. With the correct primers we can change to any colour and get fantastic hard wearing results 💪

Jess and I really enjoyed this weeks lovely job. A spare bedroom (I forgot to take pictures of 🤦🏼‍♀️), en-suite, after Shawn ST Handyman Services fitted panelling, and a beautiful playroom packed with personality including a new picture rail, fantastic orange ceiling and playhouse silhouette.

This was a tough one with a lot of built up old paint and uneven walls, now its bright, clean and inviting ✨

Wall colour - Dulux Caramel Blush 2.
Stair runner colour - Farrow & Ball Yeabridge Green (I’m biased this is the colour I have on my own stairs)

The girls used a new product on the market for the floors and stair runner so we’re excited to see how this wears but application was good - Johnstone’s Aqua Guard.

Hours can be flexible, I’m open to discuss your needs and see if we can help each other, students and mums working around school drop off welcome.

You can drive to locations in Cheltenham and surrounding areas.
You have no worries about using a ladder and working at height.
You are naturally tidy and organised.

In addition, to get involved, we need you to have one of the following:
Some experience of painting/decorating.
A passion for interiors.
Creative hobbies.

We are a fun bunch, we really support each other and care about our clients and creating them beautiful spaces in their homes.

Last week I completed my final outdoor bit of work for the year, bought these porch doors back to life and protected them for a good few years to come. I’ve taken quite a few bookings for Spring already so please let me know if I can help spruce up your curb appeal 🏡✨

Little before and AFTER ✨

This house had been painted entirely in blue with magnolia gloss woodwork and some very special feature burgundy walls, now it’s looking elegant, clean and full of light with Little Greene Slacked Lime walls, lovely clean white woodwork in eggshell and Farrow & Ball Hague Blue stair banister.

SUPER BEAUTIFUL PROJECT ✨
This entire open plan house, upstairs (I forgot to take pics 🤦🏼‍♀️) and downstairs has gone from its basic builders white to now having a big personality in opulent blues. The bespoke shelving the client had commissioned are absolutely stunning and finished with brass detail and sprayed to match the paints I have used on the walls (If you would like a contact for these DM me)

A couple of before and afters from 2022 - front doors are one of my favourite projects, both of these were suffering from black high gloss paint (very 80's) and so have now been updated to an eggshell finish and some new door furniture.

Both doors now have a far more up to date eggshell finish by Farrow & Ball the first Salon Drab and second Railings.

Before and AFTER ⚡️

This has been a lovely project, using the same shade over walls, skirting, window frame, door, door frame and built-in wardrobe inside and out really updating and elevating this spare room to feel like hotel room.

Colour used Dulux Decorator Centre Shadow Chic, and the client bought lovely new handles from Buster + Punch

I've been so busy, but finally got round to getting the van branded and love it!

Great being a part of this bathroom job, putting my finishing touch on with white walls and ceiling this afternoon.

I have painted a few white bathrooms recently and have a favourite product - Zinsser Perma-White. It’s washable, completely matt, and designed to prevent the growth of mould and mildew for up to 7 years. 🤓👍

I've been painting, tiling, upholstering and generally turning my hand to any DIY for more than 15 years, getting itchy feet if I didn’t have a project on the go…I decided six months ago to take the painting to a professional level.

I am very conscientious, and bring far more to any project then just a quick coat of paint (the massive bottle of gin my last customer had delivered to me as a thank you says it all 👏)

I have some space in my diary from 11th July and would be delighted to visit you to have a chat about your project.
