My top tips for decluttering and reorganising your wardrobe:
💕 Limit the time you have to no more than 3 hours - this will force you to focus and makes it seem less daunting.
💕 Get some bin liners ready - one for charity, one for resale and one for the tip!
💕 Put on some uplifting happy music - so it feels like fun too!
💕 be brutally honest with yourself - for each item of clothing ask:
➡️ do I love it?
➡️ do I still wear it?
➡️ would I buy it if it was in the shops now?
➡️ does it still fit?
➡️ is it in the right colours and style for me?
If you’ve answered no to any of the above, get rid of it!
💕 remove anything with the tags still on - you won’t wear it now!
💕 ask a friend (someone who will be objective and unemotional about your clothes)
💕 if you’re not sure about an item, do a poll on Instagram - should you keep or lose it?
💕 then organise what’s left so that dresses are together, tops are together, skirts are together etc
💕 be a bouncer! Work on a one in, one out policy. Don’t add to your wardrobe without knowing exactly what you need and keep your clothes under review.
💕 repeat at least once a year!
Happy decluttering and of course, I’m offering online wardrobe editing services if you need some moral support! Simply email me on [email protected] to book an appointment 😍💕💕💕
What I wore yesterday to keep me cool 💚
I’m a bit behind today! But I’m looking forward to doing a summer dress reel later today - I’m way too excited about the potential warm weather next week! 😆
Apart from that it’s a working day for me - what are you up to? Any sunny weather plans?

Happy Monday lovelies! 😍
Back to reality right?!
So I was going to post a new reel but I realised when I looked back on it that the lighting was so bad and it made everything look fuzzy!
So I’ll try and do a quick reel today at some point. 😍
Where’s the sun gone?! 😳😍😍😍

Do you hate shopping?
➡️Do you hate the idea of shopping for clothes online or in person?
➡️Do you find going in shops overwhelming because there’s too much choice?
➡️Do you wander around aimlessly not really knowing what to look for?
➡️Do you pick up a few things and try them on and feel underwhelmed?

If you have an hourglass figure I’m jealous! You have a small defined waist and your bust and hips are the same proportions.
Here’s what to embrace as an hourglass:
💕 Invest in a great bra!
💕 Wear v neck tops and dresses.
💕 Wrap dresses and 50s style dresses will look fab on you.
💕 Pencil skirts will give you that perfect Mad Men vibe and show off your curves.
💕 Flared or bootcut jeans are your friends.
💕 Belted jackets and coats that show off your waist are great.
Here’s what to avoid:
💕 Double breasted coats or blazers
💕 Anything loose that hides your figure and makes you look boxy
💕 Too many frills around the bust area
These are just a few tips for you hourglass ladies

How to create a capsule wardrobe:
STYLE TIPs:
In this video I show you how to dress using the colour block method:
I was asked recently who I love working with and it made me think really hard!
But it became easy when I thought of a recent client I’ve worked with.
So I’ll talk about Clare, a mum of two lively boys who was struggling to find anytime to herself amid her hectic life.
As she was often on the sidelines on a football or rugby pitch she’d slipped into a sort of mum style dress code of jeans/leggings and simple tops. Dressing for comfort and practicality rather than style. Which a lot of us mums do!
Clare came to me because she had fallen out of love with shopping. She’d lost a bit of confidence and also a sense of her style post children. She’s a mum but she also wanted to rediscover herself and have some on trend items for work.
Clare also wanted a bit of “me time” and therefore booked me to do a style session and discover the colours and style of clothes that suit her.
She then booked a Personal Shopping day so that we could buy some key items to create a wardrobe full of clothes that were practical AND stylish.
She had a fab time, we got some great outfits and she’s discovered her new mum uniform that’s cool, fun and most importantly makes her look and feel a million dollars.
She’s received lots of compliments and said it made the world of difference to her how confident she now feels.
I love empowering women through fashion and style and I love working with all the Clares out there!
So if you’d like to get back to you, the woman with confidence, sass and style, email me at [email protected] to book a styling session with me.
Because you are sooooooooo worth it!
As I’ve made a few new connections recently I thought you might like to know a bit about me and how I became a personal stylist and a will writer.
I used to be a solicitor which is a far cry from fashion and fun!
But I had the chance to train as stylist with my personal stylist friend Katie Day and I jumped at the chance. So I retrained 7 years ago and decided to set up my own businesses.
I keep my toes in the legal pond as a Will Writer and love that I can still help clients in this way.
And I also created my own styling business to help women just like me. Women who have left the world of 9-5 and taken the plunge to start their own businesses. The risk takers, the entrepreneurs and the women that just wanted to be their own boss and leave behind the office politics. God it feels good!
I’ve yet to get my clients muddled up (that would be hysterical!) but very often there is some cross over. I love what I do and I wouldn’t be doing it if I didn’t love it. I’ve spent way to long working in environments that brought me no joy or inspiration.
What I do now is fun, creative, and totally awesome! And best of all – I can be me!
So that’s me – but how about you? Introduce yourself in the comments below and tell me one thing you love about your work.
What’s your main style dilemma?
What to wear if you have an inverted triangle body shape:
An inverted triangle body shape is where your shoulders are wider than your hips and your hips are small and legs your legs look amazing!
For the inverted triangle, you will want to minimize your upper body and create volume on your lower body and here’s some tips on how to do it:
• Wear soft feminine textures to soften the shoulder line
• Avoid extra width in blazers and wear jackets that are well structured at the shoulder
• Look for tops that accentuate the waist, like wrap tops or peplum tops.
• Wear tops that accentuate a vertical line, so go for V-necks and keep your shirts unbuttoned
• Wear a darker colour on top.
• Use belts to define your waist as well.
• Create more width and overall balance below with A-line or full skirts.
• Use bold textures to create more bulk below the waistline.
• Horizontal stripes below the waist will make the lower body wider.
• Wear wide leg trousers and Culottes will look fab in you too.
• Have pockets or embellishments on your trousers or skirts.
• Wear bright coloured shoes.
I hope that helps and you can download my free guide on dressing for your body shape here:

Do you remember to accessorise?
Sometimes it’s the little things that finish off your look. Adding a necklace, earrings and/or a bracelet can really elevate your outfit.
And you can use accessories to add colour, interest and elegance to your outfit.
You can also use items such as necklaces and belts to accentuate your figure, and draw attention to the right places.
Accessories are also a great way to add a current trend to your wardrobe without breaking the bank. Animal print earrings or a bag for example can be a great way to experiment with a trend without committing fully.
I use brightly coloured shoes to add interest to my outfits as well.
The hardest thing to do is remember to add accessories before you head out or start the day!
And with all the video calls we’re making, it’s more important than ever to make sure we pay attention to these details.
