Charlie is the latest member of our team , joined Purple only a few months ago and has so much to offer.
NVQ trained in level 1,2 and 3, She brings to Purple the very latest styles and techniques, she is artistic and loves to create and deliver this to her clients. Her kind, patient , soft personality but very stylish look really is so appealing in this modern world.
Her Blow drying techniques are phenomenal , along with her talent for dressing hair for Weddings and Proms.
She loves balayage and colouring .
It is a real pleasure having Charlie in our Purple team,I feel very lucky that i have been given the chance to work alongside this very talented , ambitious, young stylist . I’m very excited to watch her career grow and will support her all the way.

I’m delighted to introduce Lisa White,
lisa has a passion and eye for style and her talent for creativity is truly unbelievable ! origianally trained as a makeup artist , she later decided to join the hairdressing world after becoming a Mum to her 2 children.
An extremley talented young lady that really has the full package to offer, she’s upto date with all the latest techniques, colouring , perming, cutting and absolutley loves to dress hair, creating a unique look, because Lisa has a very special natural talent, she can look at her client and see what style , colour would suit them and then advise them what’s best.
Lisa’s bubbly, fun, whitty personality makes her very aproachable and easy to get along with, she has a very warm , kind heart and an ora that glows.
I have known Lisa now for four years, she is a massive attribute to Purple, her hairdressing career has no limits and all hard work is starting to pay off . I have never met anyone that is as enthusiastic to learn and succeed as much as Lisa wants to.

The Irish Lady landed in Purple ! How lucky are we!!…Hannah has worked for Purple for five years , she’s bought to the salon that lovely Irish charm, she is kind, gentle and very patient .. Hannah has worked very hard over the past few years not only as an employee but to become qualified as a very talented Purple Stylist .
I have been lucky enough and honored to be able to teach Hannah her Hairdressing skills and watch her qualify and grow ….Wow her hairdressing is really another level.
Currently Hannah is off on maternity leave after having her beautiful baby boy Theo, She plans to return in March and i know her clients will be keen to return to her as soon as possible.
I absolutely love working with Hannah, she is growing in confidence and has so much to offer. She will continue to progress and grow in confidence and i have no doubt her future is very bright.

Lauren has been with Purple over 6 years. Now returning after having her beautiful baby daughter Elsie. Lauren brings energy , fun and sparkle to our salon.she’s the bubbles in the bottle ! Lauren is an extremely talented young lady, her hairdressing has diversity and presision , she loves the latest looks, styles and techniques, never scared to try something new, recently qualifing in hair extensions , it allows her to offer a new service in the business . Lauren is fantastic at cutting, colouring, prom and wedding hair , she has a real talent for dressing hair.
I always remember the day i interviewed Lauren she was due to go on holiday but post-poned it , she said getting a job at Purple was much more important . What a great decision i made by employing this fantastic young woman, she has grown in confidence, built a huge clientele and has everything it takes to be a top Purple girl.

Here we go , proud to introduce to you Mikayla Diamond,
Mikky joined Purple hair Salon 7 years ago, she bought with her a wealth of experience offering Purple a new dinamic!
Mikayla had previously along with her late husband owned two very successful business , Never fazed by trying something new , they decided to sell and move to Spain along with their two children, where she continued her career in hairdressing,
In 2015 Mikayla decided it was time to come back and settle in Cheltenham, Which is when she approached Purple, explaining her new situation and how she wanted to build a new life and career here in Bishops Cleeve.
Mikayla, is an extremley talented, hard working professional Classy lady. She has a very special calm, kind way about her and that shows in her work , always giving her clients every minute of her time.
She has a real passion and talent in hairdressing. Mikky adores cutting and colouring and gets a real delight out of introducing new shades always achieving exactly what her client desires.
Her clientele has grown rapidly over severn years and now still working full time on a self employed basis under Purple , her appointment book is always full, with a waiting list running along the side.She loves greeting and meeting new clients and always aspires to good, interesting chat and a laugh.
I really can’t believe i have worked with this amazing lady all this time , it really has gone by so quickly. Hopefully we have many more to come but where ever Mikayla’s life takes her i would like to wish her the very best and thank you for everything you have given to Purple.

Ayesha King, Mum of two beautiful boys, recently returning to Purple after having her gorgeous little boy Sony . Looking fantastic and returning with Aysh’s usual bounce in her step, fire in the belly !!
Ayesha joined Purple almost 10 years ago , she has bought to our team a cheeky , fun and a little bit quirky personality . With her young view on life, she delivers exactly what Purple was founded to be …. A Salon that all the family can go to. Her clientele has certainly appealed to ladies, Gents , teanagers and the children also absolutely love her.
Ayesha is always keen to learn more, she adores cutting and colouring, the greater the challenge the more she deliveres.
During her hours in the Salon she is professional , hardworking and very approachable , she has a very soft gentle personality that apeals to so many people.
When i interviewed Ayesha many years ago now, she was relocating from Sussex, to move closer to her boyfriend, now husband, i remember thinking … goodness she’s brave , i’m not sure how long she will manage this for. Proudly i say what a fantastic job she has done.
Moved to Bishops cleeve built a huge client base, stayed loyal to Purple for 10 years, married her boyfriend and made her own family, what an achievement …

Pip is our front of house. Salon assistant , she has been with Purple for ten years.
Pip is extremely Proffesional, efficient, hard working and very easy to get on with, She will meet you at the desk or greet you on the end of the phone with a smile always happy and willing to help, instantly you will know your in capable hands.
Pip has the knowledge of the salon and all the stylists and is happy to guide and recommend you to the stylist that is best suited to you and your hair. Nothing is ever to much trouble .
Pip also cares for all our clients , washing their hair, giving them refreshments and genuinely making the Purple experience extra special.

Eloise, has been part of The Purple team since it opened, Ellie is a very proffesional, hard working, talented young lady. She has over 30 years experience and knowledge in the hairdressing industry , Ellie has so much to offer a client, whether you have long , short , curly, straight, easy or problematic hair, she can offer you the very best advice. Ellie is an extremely caring, compassionate stylist, that simply brings the salon alive with her energy , smiles and warmth. Ellie always has a story that usually ends up with us all laughing.
Ellie loves her job, she is highly skilled in Cutting, colouring and Perming and is always their to listen to her client and share with you her opinion.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with this gorgeous lady over the last 20 years, she has gone way and beyond the call of duty , she is the Star in Purple and definatly my rock, I hope we continue to work together and take Purple on for many years to come.

It all began in 2002, The bakery had ceased business and was shut over night . Myself a young girl with a dream to open her own salon, all i wanted was a chance to prove i could be a succcess.
I aspired to make a high class family hairdresssers and bring it to Cleeve, a salon that everybody felt welcome, to provide high quality hairdresssing and to bring all our London knowledge to Bishops cleeve.
The blind bids for the premises had to be in with in a week, i had no idea what i was really doing but i did have the amazing support from a lady called Sue Adam’s , she had a lot of property knowledge and she guided me towards my dream.
I won the bid, the lease was secure for two years, this was my chance…
My Dad and Mum, helped me to rip it out, counters, fridges, walls, doors , it was a massive ask … I set about designing my new salon.
The logo…. where do you start !!! what do i call it, with the help of a very artistic friend Ed Alvis, we came up with a theme Purple actually we finally decided it would be called PURPLE STAR.
The salon was almost ready … i had a great team behind me, Eloise, Sarah and Becka, all really enthusiastic to make this the best Salon and to offer Cleeve something new and really different from what was already there.
After weeks of hard work, sometimes working way into the night we were finally ready to launch.
We had an open day on the Saturday and invited everyone to come and join us for drinks and nibbles, i was proud to show off what i had so far achieved and what i had to offer Bishops Cleeve.
November 19th was open day, oh my word what a day , the phone went crazy. Clients , old and new flooded through the doors, offering us the most amazing support. Purple went from strength to strength , Making it a complete family business , Paul joined us in 2005 and took on front of house… we needed more help, we were soon taking on more stylists, more helpers and very quickly had to re-fit the salon so we could accommodate everyone.
20 years on, staff have left and moved on, New staff have joined us and brought fresh and new ideas to purple. Eloise who has been an absolute rock to me and i call her My absolute star in Purple is still with me after 20 years. What an achievement we have made.
Todays team at Purple are one of the best i’ve had, we’re a professional, hardworking family, all there to aspire to offer Cleeve the very very best in hairdressing .

We are celebrating 20 years in business , I would like to thank everyone that has supported us over the 20 years. Through the highs and the lows , the good times and the tough. We welcome all our regular clients , old clients and new to pop into the salon and enjoy a glass of fizz, cake and to see our new decor.
