My beautiful girl has gone off on an adventure to South America ❤️ I feel very privileged that she trusts me to get her ready - we had a long session of waxing and bits and bobs and finished with her gorgeous lashes 😍 a lash lift and tint so that she won't have to worry about makeup whilst she's away.
I went off backpacking around Chile when I was pregnant with Alice, and she's taken the warm top I wore on my travels. We've always joked about her time in Chile, and what we saw from flamingos flying at dawn in the Atacama Desert to penguins in Patagonia and now she's off to see it with her own eyes. I wish I could go with her, but I know she needs adventures without mum tagging along. I had dreamed of going to Bolivia but wasn't able to because I would have needed to take malaria tablets ,a big no no when pregnant so I chose Chile. Alice is going to experience Chile, Bolivia and Argentina 😀❤️

I have just done this set of GB nails for the mum of one of our GB rowers, about to compete in the Olympics 💪🤞❤️ he took part in the last Olympics, but it was covid so she wasn't allowed to go.
I have known her for over 25 years, and can remember her children as little ones!!! I am immensely proud to be, in a very small way, involved in their family journey!!! Do I qualify for getting a tattoo of the Olympic rings now??🤣❤️
I shall be watching every moment of the rowing. I know how sick she will be feeling, and just hope that it goes well 🙏

Baby Chester is 3 today!!!!! He is a huge character, and very much part of our family. As I write this, he is snoring away 😁 off over the fields later for one of his favourite walks ❤️

On a serious note - remember your suncream
- check SPF and for UVA and UVB cover
- remember an old opened suncream is approximately half the stated SPF level
- use plenty and remember to cover everywhere including ears and any parting
- reapply regularly approximately every 2 hours
- stay out of the midday sun 🌞
- mineral suncreams are better for the skin and environment than chemical ones
- apply at least 15 mins before you go in the sun 🌞😎
