So full disclosure, this was actually my second attempted at this colour. The first time I did it, it was beautiful but my client and I both agreed we wanted more from the colour. So we got her back in straight away and re did it and we were both ecstatic we did because we loved the final result.

Really loving this bold money piece.

Lots of contrast and texture in this colour. With golden hues for that ultra bright result.

Ok the cut and styling by me do look awesome, but this client just has the most amazing thick healthy hair.
We go for s**ggy layers but making sure to keep enough weight there to keep the massive amount under control a wee bit. Team that with Ever.Smooth and Smooth.Again and you’re good to go.

Foils foils foils and then a soft pink over the top. This give our lovely client a beautiful multi tonal result which works great with her beautiful natural curl.

Want the secret to a brighter blonde???⬇️

So a few things to remember with your blondes.

Let’s all not forget, blondes are high maintenance to have and to keep looking good. You can’t just leave them and hope for the best people.

Blondes are porous, so they absorb everything basically! Pollution, minerals in the water, toners, pigments in toning shampoo and conditioners, uv’s, even general dirt and dust in the air. Make sure you are using a detoxifying or clarifying shampoo every 1 to 2 weeks to remove these buggers. Kevin Murphys Maxi.wash is great and really gentle on the hair.

Use less heat on your hair and if you need to use heat always use a decent heat defence.

The cooler you go with your toner(ash/violet/matt), the darker/ flatter the blonde can look. Cool tones absorb light, warm tones reflect light.

To many toners!!! If you are getting your hair toned regularly this will eventually dull down the blonde, as pigments are building up in those blondes.

Violet shampoos and conditions are great but again they will tone down the brightness.

So this fiery concoction is looking beautiful. But in all honesty, it wasn’t quite what the client wanted. We were trying to get a little bit more orange to the colour, but the hair gods were not in our favour that day and we had to go for the teddy orange. Next time though!!!!!
