After 5 challenging years this will be the last edition of the Run Upcote Autumn Trail. Financial challenges, personal changes and later entries all combine to make it more risky and less fun to put races on. RU was never about profit (which is lucky!) and always about fun; fun to run but also fun to plan and deliver. Now it isn't fun, so it's time to end.
I really hope we see more entries for this final opportunity to come together in a magical rural location and enjoy a morning of socialising and a bit of a run one last time.
