While we are approaching the gifting season, we thought we had better get some safety eyes in ready for your toys!

We have some new sparkly eyes in 18mm and 10mm as well as the usual plain black and brown ones in sizes from 6mm - 18mm.

Ps, although they’re called ‘safety eyes’, if you’re making something for a child, we DO NOT recommend using these as they could be a choking hazard.

My baby is 1!

That year has been the fastest year ever but I just wanted to show off the most gorgeous birthday dress made by Chase Crafts for Margot who have a permanent spot in our shop.

This pinafore is reversible with a beautiful dusky pink corduroy one side and a pure cotton print on the other.

Chase Crafts have a range of other bits like bibs, baby Taggies, bags, headbands and more dresses in the shop for you to enjoy.

With Christmas coming up, be sure to get the perfect occasion dress/romper for your little ones.

How have we only got two weeks left of school holidays!? They’ve absolutely flown by.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the summer, this is our quietest time of year and most certainly the most worrying.

We have some fabulous makers products in our shop at the moment so you must pop by to have a look!

We have sweets and chocolates from Wendy at Chateau Bonbon Chepstow. Dresses, bags and baby bits made by Rachel at Chase Crafts. Knitted items from Yellydo Crafts and other handmade bits by us here at The Craft Space Chepstow.

We have also got some tickets left for our Crochet Wreath Raffle in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, pop in to secure yours!

Floral Wreath Raffle!

Our fabulous customer who made our celebration cakes and door wreath is volunteering with Prostate Cancer Research and raising money for the charity.

She has made a gorgeous wreath to raffle off in store and tickets are available to buy NOW!

Each ticket is £2 and you can choose a number or be allocated a random number. Once all tickets have sold, the raffle will be drawn!

We’ve had a huge delivery of chenille yarns in Chunky and Super Chunky.

This yarn is SUPER popular for toys but are just as gorgeous for children’s clothing and blankets.

We’ve had a fab time at our Friendship Bracelet workshop today.

The children got to choose their colour to weave together to create a unique woven bracelet type bracelet which they loved because they really got to be creative.

Has anyone seen this pattern? It’s a Sirdar KNITTED Cardigan Pattern in a gorgeous tweed effect.

However, there is a twist!! The vertical lines are CROCHETED! It blew my mind, but, it’s super duper easy.

Keep your eyes peeled to see the finished product!

Wow, today’s been a busy one already!

Footfall has been incredible AND we have a whole day of back to back classes.

Right now, we have a lovely customer on her second lesson with us learning the crochet C2C (corner 2 corner) stitch. This will enable her to make blankets, cushion covers, scarfs and much more.

Did you know we teach you to crochet? Look how far you can come in one lesson!

We teach 1:1, 2:1 and even group sessions. Did you know we can also come to you? If you attend a group who would like to learn to crochet, get us to come and teach you how to.

Those of you who know me, know i don’t follow patterns and I make most of my projects up in my head… but you’ve all given me stick because you’d like to make them too!

So, here you go! I have written and designed my very first pattern available to buy in our shops NOW.

They’re a little bit more expensive than our other brand patterns because I haven’t been able to mass produce these but I am very very grateful for your support by purchasing them.

We’ve got the macrame cord and hooks in the shop also for you to buy along side these patterns so you can get working on your bag projects straight away!

Crochet baskets for the house are her next obsession and we hope you see why!

The versatility in these baskets are huge as they can be made in all sort of sizes and colours to match individual colour schemes.

Super duper easy to make. Here is what you’ll need:
• 5mm macrame cord (plaited is best as it has a bit of stretch)
• 9mm crochet hook
• wooden basket base
