Lots of fun building with bricks we then tested our nerves and took risk to jump from our built towers we all took turns and celebrated our success.

Today the children were fascinated with the story about the cat and the witch with the magic wand and hat so we put our creativity to the test we selected the pipe cleaners to make our very own wizard and witches hats and wands we used our fine motor skills to twist and mould the hat shapes and squeeze to make the wand we then choose our own magic words and went on a parade turning others into frogs and dragons to name a few things.

This helped our little one to develop imagination, early writing skills and have fun with wonderful colours and silly words.

Today we explored more colours we first found fruit and veg in the box and talked about the colour, shape and feel. We further explored using our senses we tasted and smelled the fruits but not before washing them in the water tray as we washed the fruit and veg we predicted what might float and what might sink, we then used some extra left overs to make our pictures prints using some of our favourite colours.

Louise our lovely physical activities coordinator came into nursery to do some exercise we stretched and danced to our favourite rhymes before making cake treats adding more of our favourite colours into the mixture.

Today we explored what happens when we fill a glove with water, we then used our kind and helping hands to look after our water glove ready to take home, where we asked our parents to put them into the freezer ready to see what happens to them after a good nights sleep, many pre-school guessed that the water would freeze and then if they take care of it again all day their water would again turn to liquid what a wonderful day exploring, predicting and discussing.

We were invaded by pirates 🏴‍☠️ looking for lost treasure today, we read the story and talked about it, made maps to help keep the treasure safe and even made patterns using colours, red, blue, yellow,red, blue, what’s next the children dressed up and role played we built a walk the plank, now to be continued as we just ran out of time ……

38 weeks Funded 30 hours per week = 6 sessions can be your choice 8-1 or 1-6 any 6 sessions Monday to Friday, meals charged for.

Full fees apply Out of term time 12 weeks of the year.

0-2 = £10.50
2-5= £9.00

0-7y Adhoc subject to registration with bluebell or the river Bourne club £9.50 per hour.

Creche the river Bourne members only £8.00per hour, must be booked and paid on arrival, parent must stay in the club at all times min 1 hour max 4 hours per day.

Currently reviewing the interest for holiday club creche for school age children and wrap around care please do let us know if this would be of interest to you? would include arts and craft, multi sports, dance and outdoor play. At £9ph.

Please do ask your PTs or classes at the Riverbourne’s club if you are a part of them you receive £1.00 per hour discount while attending their class or PT session.
