This Wednesday I was proud to represent Durham School Sports Partnership – at Beamish an amazing event which gives over 800 school children from around Durham an opportunity to participate in an athletic run around Beamish Museum. It was a fantastic day and the weather stayed great for everybody,
I operated as safety officer and it was a thoroughly enjoyable event assisted by TJR Event Safety.

It’s been a busy few days for TJR Licensing Ltd and Event Safety.
Firstly covering the safety of 15000 East stand spectators at the stadium of light during the Bruce Springsteen concert then yesterday a full day of training the qualification for the award for personal safety. All good stuff

In 2019 I was asked to design a bespoke course that educated potential Small Event Promoters.
Following the submission of extensive documents to Highfield the awarding body, I am proud to say that this course is in its third year of operation. The only one of this content that I am aware of in the UK.
This detailed course delivers a concise syllabus to individuals proposing to run events delivering content, such as the Event Mgt plan, the noise, management plan, traffic management, plan, vulnerability and safeguarding and other essential elements of the event design process.
This course has been hugely successful in the north-east of England and its design and implementation is instrumental in making sure that when events are on in the north-east, then they will be to the highest and safest standard. Certificates are awarded.
A massive thank you goes out to Newcastle City Council for giving me the opportunity to design, such an influential course, and showing the public of Newcastle City that the council are setting the standards and ensuring safety within the event management process.

TJR Events Promoting spectator safety / more than licensing

TJR Licensing has been really busy recently so apologies for not being online too much so here’s a quick recap over the last three days working 15 hour shifts to achieve a safe and happy environment for all those at the northern Kin music festival event safety management plan, noise management plan and traffic management all had to be precisely confirmed and complied with the police to say all went well and here are some photos to demonstrate that.
