Most people who have been having tattoo brows / permanent makeup brows / microblading (whichever you want to call it, it’s all the same thing) over several years will likely require a laser session at some point as the skin can only hold so much pigment.
The laser obliterates the old pigment under your skin and your lymphatic system flushes the tiny molecules away through your body making room for lovely fresh pigment 🙂

We try to achieve the best symmetry possible to enhance your existing brows, however, our faces & bone structure is asymmetrical and we have muscles in our foreheads which work independently often raising one eyebrow higher than the other. We must expect some asymmetry particularly because we have facial expressions which naturally move our eyebrows about!

Even if you had full natural brows that didn’t require tattoo enhancement they would still be asymmetrical NOT identical to each other 🙂

It’s just about having realistic expectations 💋

This laser client had her brows done elsewhere some years ago and in my opinion the pigment was too dark for her. One session of laser has made such a difference in returning them to their natural beauty 😁
We might need another session of laser before redoing permanent makeup, or when I see my client next they might be sufficiently faded enough to redo over the top of some trace pigment.
It’s a process but it’s worth it in the long run if you have oversaturated or unwanted tattoos brows / microblading.

I am offering complementary laser brow removal to my returning colour boost clients who would like a fresh start with their brows. This is recommended if you have had several colour boosts every 1-2 years and have a build up of pigment.

Simply hair strokes 💋

Freshly done brows - these will soften & lighten once healed after about 7-10 days and appear more subtle / natural.
They might feel intense initially if you’re not used to having much there but they can lighten by 30-40%
The shape is tailored to your natural brow line as much as possible with minimal adjustments to keep it looking natural. For instance, I wouldn’t do a high arch where there isn’t one.

Before & aftercare instructions are provided with your procedure, please check your booking email for details which advise you what to do and what not to do to get the best results. It is up to you to look after them properly during the healing phase by following the aftercare. After that it is down to your skin how you heal, some people retain colour better than others, and also lifestyle factors; stress / diet / exercise / hormones. It is an art process and you are the canvas 🙂

COLOUR BOOST ….. recommended once every 1-3 years… some people fade down quicker than others, especially oily skin types. If you’re not sure whether you need a colour boost yet you can send me pictures and I can let you know if it’s time for a refresh or if you should let them fade down some more 🙂
For my existing clients who have maybe had a few sessions over the years and have a bit of a build up of residual colour, I am offering complementary laser removal to break down the old pigment as there is only so much pigment the skin can take over the years. This enables us to update your brows with more flexibility and remove any stubborn ashy pigment. I myself have had laser removal on my brows to achieve a fresher look after years of tattooing, they are much softer now which I’m really pleased about 😊

It helps if your skin is in good condition for having permanent makeup brows which is basically a tattoo implanted with a fine needle. There are lots of different skin types which all yield varied results therefore the outcome cannot be guaranteed.
Did you know that hormones / diet / stress can affect how you heal? Look after your skin, look after your body & mind and hydrate hydrate hydrate!
We cannot tattoo over spots or moles so you must accept a small gap in the tattoo pigment around the spot or mole. If you’re having a breakout in your brow area or you have active psoriasis / eczema / dermatitis or open skin you will need to postpone your appointment until your skin is healed.

Watching MAFS Australia this week woohoo 🥳

Here is another still as I haven’t got time to do reels! I much prefer a good old picture to look at, sometimes reels annoy me 😆
Hayley has been coming to me for a number of years, she has naturally dark and coarse brow hair but her natural shape needs improving and streamlining whilst utilising as much brow hair as possible. So we set the shape with the pencil as a template and then tattoo the colour in with just a few hair strokes for texture and then powder / shade throughout the brow. So basically, colour in the skin behind the brow hair, but do it artistically!

Free brows for Lisa after she won the recent competition 🥳

I show raw, natural pictures which are unedited to show real results - the can sometimes include red skin around the brows if a client is prone to skin sensitivity when having a procedure done, it subsides quickly the same day. My skin goes very red when I have my eyebrows waxed and when I have them tattooed it’s just the way it is for some people 🙂

The colour can look warm immediately after procedure and becomes more natural and subtle once healed after a week or so.

Better late than never eh 🫣 …..Sorry I’ve not had much time (or inclination to be frank) to keep up to date with the ol’ socials… life has been really rather hectic for a while and other things have taken priority. And sometimes when you do have a little time you find you don’t have the bloody energy! Does anyone want to do this for me please 😆

📣 It’s basically a tattoo - just not as deep as a conventional tattoo. And the pigments we use fade down over a few years or so but might not fade out completely.

Without following brow trends I aim to make the best of your natural brows. This IS a tattoo and although it fades down over months / years some people can retain the colour for a long time so you don’t want anything too big / wide / dark / heavy etc that would require laser removal when you change your mind. You can add the drama temporarily with pencil when you’re ‘tarted up’ 😄

I like it when people feel relaxed enough to have a little snooze whilst I’m tattooing their brows 😴

Once the numbing cream has kicked in most people find it quite relaxing. A small minority find it a bit nippy. You will feel it more if you are hormonal as we are most sensitive at that time 😵‍💫

Fresh off the needle with normal amount of redness for some people - as always no filters or photo editing. Redness subsides quickly usually within half an hour.

This IS a tattoo, a cosmetic tattoo, using a fine disposable needle and pigments which do fade down over time but will leave residual colour for many years for some people (other people may fade out almost completely, everyone is different). Hence why a colour boost is required once every 1-3 years to refresh the colour.

Please ensure your pigment has faded sufficiently before booking a colour boost. If they are still quite prominent it’s best to wait some more months and let the residual pigment fade down further so they’ll be looking super fresh after your colour boost rather than just slightly different. It also gives your skin an extra break 👍🏻

Great result for a difficult skin type - large pores, oily, produces lymph fluid, bit of a bleeder, goes red to the touch. (The redness subsides pretty quickly after tattooing is completed, within an hour.)

It is important not to overwork the skin and to manage client expectations that the pigment might not be as prominent as they would like. Remember this is not a complete replacement for brow pencil / powder but we’ve got some colour in there so she doesn’t have to wear makeup all the time or has a good base to apply her brow product on top of.

Will soften & lighten once healed - healing is dependant on your skin and lifestyle.
