It is a common misconception that turf can only be laid in the warmer months, however this is not the case! We supply to a large number of Home Owners , Landscape Professionals and Golf Clubs around the North East who make the most of turfing during the winter months ❄️

We can supply as little as 1 single roll all the way up to 1000’s of SQM for your projects 👍

Job Vacancy - Yard Assistant

We are looking for someone to join our fast paced, family run team here at The Grass Centre. This role would entail working in our busy yard in Birtley.

Job description

Yard assistant in a busy builders merchant / landscape supply store, based in Birtley. Fork lift license preferred but not essential as we can offer training.

Would be required to assist in handling various landscaping and building materials, loading and unloading vehicles. Manual lifting will be required. A level of fitness is required as the job can be physically demanding at times.

Schedule:
8 hour shift
Overtime
Licence/Certification:
Drivers Licence (required)
Forklift Licence (preferred)
