Taking a leap, making a change, risking something, is a hard choice.
And for me, when making a hard choice, it is my fears that often stop me from doing it. I am risk averse, I like stability, and I don’t always believe in myself.

Fallen back in love with reading and learning from the wise words of others.
Following my reflexology studies I’ve decided to add the Bowen Technique to the therapies I’d like to offer.
For those who don’t know much about the Bowen Technique, it is a gentle rolling-type move over the skin in certain places on the body, which is designed to get the brain to reassess and make changes to fascia, muscles and organs that may be causing issues or pain.
As the movements are gentle, this therapy is ideal for anyone, including newborns, elderly, disabled, as well as athletes.
Bowen is distinct from other therapies as there are ‘breaks’ between sets of moves to allow the brain to interpret and then respond. Most of the moves can also be done over clothing, with the client lying, sitting or standing.
As with all my training, I will be doing case studies before I qualify as this is an important part of the learning process. If you would like to be a case study, please get in touch.
Case studies will need to sign up to three regular sessions, and be available for a follow up call on week 4. The sessions will be around an hour each but this will include consultation time too. No other complementary/holistic therapy can take place over the course of those 4 weeks so that I can document any changes that happen. Sessions will take place in Hoole and participants are asked to wear shorts and a loose fitting t-shirt. There will be no charge for these sessions as they will form part of my portfolio, with all details anonymised and kept confidential.
For me, this ‘working out who to be’ is a journey. It is not something concrete that needs to be decided. It is ever-changing, flexible and adaptive, a bit like a chameleon 🦎 It can be universal 🌎 or it can be personal 👤, or it can be both.
I think there is a lot of pressure to be, act and talk a certain way, but everyone is different and that’s what makes humanity special.
We don’t all have to agree, but we should not force our thinking or actions onto anyone else. We should see the goodness in everyone, and have compassion for all.
So excited to soon be offering BABY REFLEXOLOGY CLASSES to parents!
This is a bit different to other treatments because I will teach the reflex moves to parents to use on their little ones when needed.
What reflex points can parents learn?
• calming baby before bed or during the day for naps
• immunity boosting
• easing reflux
• relieving colic
• releasing constipation
• and general well-being points for eyes, ear, nose, throat and teething
As with all my training, I am looking for one parent to teach three lessons to cover all the reflex points. Each lesson will be about 45mins. This can be done face to face in your home, in public, or over zoom/FaceTime/etc. at a time that is convenient for you.

Constant stress floods the nervous system with cortisol and adrenaline, pushing our drives and decisions to overload. This leads to fatigue and burnout.
Taking some time out for self-care allows you to step away from the cycle and focus on paying attention to thoughts and feelings in a neutral way.
