I had such a great time yesterday at Pop-Up Palm House in beautiful Sefton park with help from my lovely sister Bijou by Tamzyn 🌿

My stall was outside on the grass in the sunshine with views of the park and the amazing Palm House 🌸

I've got soooo many new pendants and rings ready to go into my shop, including this new ammolite piece, which is part of a collection of 3 ❤️

It's been a month or so since I used my blowtorch, so today I taught myself how to make copper 'headpins'.
Using this technique for these cute mushrooms that I'll add onto a pendant or make knto earrings soon 🍄😍

I like to start my mornings off by drinking too much coffee & procrastinating. So instead of posting a picture of that, I thought I'd show off this gorgeous Amethyst ring I made 💍

I love to spend my free time hiking, wild swimming, kayaking, camping & foraging 🏕🍄

Summer is my fave season of all, long nights & hot days 🌞

Brand Origin

Here's a little glimpse into where my business came from..
Back in early 2020 I began teaching myself how to make wire-wrap jewellery. I started by watching jewellery tutorials online and becoming inspired by other artists. I figured that I didn't need much to start learning the basics.
After having so many lovely compliments on pieces I'd made, I decided to give it a go and set up an etsy shop with help from my talented sister who hand designed my logo with me. The spiral mandala in my logo represents the spiral of life, this recurring symbol is rooted all around us in nature, that's where my inspiration for art comes from.
The name didn't take too long to create- 'bijou' translates to 'jewel' which is one of my middle names and also 'little trinket' which fits perfectly with the treasures I make.
The photo is a few first drafts of my logo, I chose to go with black & white to keep the emphasis on my jewellery.

The Northern Lights over Stonehenge tonight 😲😍❤️💚💙💛

Wow what an incredible night i have just had and i still can't quite believe i have caught the Aurora Borealis down here in southern England, what an absolute treat. Even caught Andromeda in the shot :)
