Last en-suite before my little break with the kids "happy half term all". This time working with Evotekk utilising the most of the dead space and expanding the room where we could. All damaged boards removed and the main shower wall was that far out of plumb a stud wall was the best option.

All plumbing and timber work adjusted then tile areas we're reboarded.

The tray was set and levelled and then the wet area was waterproofed with the LATICRETE International, Inc. tanking system.

Some tasty 30x60cm porcelain tiles from Tile Giant were laid on the walls in a modular pattern and finished in a tone for the grout, trims and silicone.

Once the floor fitters had been it was then time for me and Chris from evotekk to install the white goods and bling giving it that super clean and inviting finish.

We're just waiting on the shower valve to arrive and it will be ready to use for many years to come.

Hi everyone, this year has got off to a flyer and I will be taking a few weeks off with the kids.
As of Thursday I will be unavailable until Monday the 15th of April.

Bookings have come in from everywhere and ill be back to the grind when im back "no I'm not complaining 😀."

Due to this I'm now booking all and any new work in for the 3rd of September onwards.

Phase two of make the en-suite bigger. Waterproofing then it was time for tiles, a lot of tiles 🤣. These in particular gave a lovely statement look and fit the room size perfectly "minus my oops and replace moment which i left in because hey we all make mistakes 🤣. All finished off with mid grey finishings then second fix by Chris at Evotekk

Another en-suite on the Crowne Park Estate completed with Evotekk . He tears them down, I do all the necessary repairs, make it look pretty then he come back for the second fix.

This main consensus with this room was space, space and more space. The walls got stripped back, all plumbing was then relocated into the wall cavities and I even fixed the neighbouring en-suite plumbing whilst I was in there.

The shower tray was taken from the normal redrow 1200x700 to a tight squeeze of a 1600x800. It was then prepped and waterproofed ready for tiling.

Third and final stage of the en suite now the karndean has been installed. The black accents and 1200mm floating vanity really set this room off perfectly and just wow, who wouldn't want a room like this. Stage two of the huuuuge en-suite. This time it's all about the layout, tanking / waterproofing, tiling and grouting. This stage really shows the enormity of the room and the work I put in to get it to what it is.

All external edges mitred where suitable and accenting edges trimmed to make the walls pop and take the job over to the next level. Next stage is the suite install and wow does it make this room come together.

Stage one what maybe a three or even four stage post. Absolute monster of an en-suite. On this post we have the previous room, deconstruction, stud wall and bath frame build, damp and rot repairs, shower tray installation, preparation and even a cheeky shot of Sam from SJP Plastering in action. Recent floor job and shower reseal for a previous customer utilising the left over tiles from an absolute monster of a floor I did. Floor prepped then overlaid with BAL Tiling rapid mat and single part uuuuber flexible adhesive, laid with the system and finished off with grout and silicone and silicone in the shower. When your previous customer says they want a ultra modern look in their new kitchen, I got you, hold my coffee ☕️ 🤣. I'll be honest I think she wanted Bruce the apprentice more than the kitchen tiling 🤣🤣, puppy daycare and cuddles was demanded haha.

Walls prepped with Kerakoll primer and tiled some banging 60x60cm polished porcelain tiles with a itsy bitsy teenie we**ie 1mm grout spacing 👌🏻. Finished off with BAL Tiling smoke mid grey grout and silicone and mid grey trims.

Tiles and materials from Topps Tiles Topps Tiles Trade as always, these guys never fail to sort what I need when I need it.

One extremely haply customer and a 🐾 seal of approval from the foreman.

Recent kitchen update in the Crowne Park Estate in siaghton. Something a bit different this time with some funky geometric square tiles. Upstands and splashback removed and walls prepped with Kerakoll primer. Tiles laid with BAL Tiling and grouted in a nice soft white to blend in with the tiles. Window edges mitred and top edges finished in a soft white trim and lastly all internal corners treated to a slick white silicone.

Part two of the "big ole floor job". Prep work not guess work making sure the tiles could flow nicely and seamlessly without and silly small cuts via a dry lay and lazer. Tasty 60x60cm polished porcelain tiles from Tile Giant laid with the good old cutter and the following materials from Topps Tiles Topps Tiles Trade system, flexible adhesive BAL Tiling finishings. All that left was for the pipes in the loo to be boxed in and it's good to go 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

This customer couldn't do enough for me and were absolutely amazing to work for, genuinely lovely people who I'm so glad I got to give them the floor the desired.

Big transformation for this absolutely lovely couple. A big ole floor job. This post is all about the deconstruction, preparation and levelling. The big boy scraper worked its blade off on this one 💪🏻💪🏻. Tiles and vinyl tiles removed, floor sanded then primed with Kerakoll and finally levelled to perfection with leveling compound.

First of many long overdue work posts from what's been a crazy 2024.

Starting off with the parents of a previous customer. Bathroom become shower room. Damp and rot repaired or replaced. Wall reinforced and reboarded and all relevant plumbing reinstated under the floor. Bath area tiled to level the wall out and some fancy shower boards installed over a monster shower tray. New shower installed to give the customer that lovely rainfall feeling with all the space they could want or need.

Evotekk was on hand too swapping out the old cylinder and installing the new towel rail.

Hi all apologies for the lack of content over the last few months but the candle has been burning at both ends and the middle. It's been my busiest year to date so far and I have lots of work to show you all.

Today we close the doors on another fantastic year and welcome the beginning of 2024.

I'll be out of office until the new year having some well needed family time and a recharge.

I've been sitting on uploading this project for a few months now, as I wanted to finish the year off with what is quite simply my bathroom of the year which was completed with SJP Plastering and Custom Renovations & Building . No matter which angle you look from whether it's the heated floor, the 3.6m feature wall all the way round to the chandelier this room is pure class and sophistication. Video will be uploaded separately. Far too many details to list so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Last job of the year, squeezed in just in time for Christmas. Concrete floor sanded, prepped then leveled with the 2 part latex leveller. Uncalibrated and random sized quarry tiles then laid in a natural style making the size differences a feature. All finished off with a for that period look and to tie in with the neighbouring tiles.

Well I'm almost finished for the year but still smashing out the jobs.

This latest en suite saw me finding some strange antics, one was the bottom two rows of tiles being stuck on with gripfill grab adhesive 😲.

Plasterboard removed, larger 900x1000 tray installed, plumbing altered, niche built then rebuilt with moitsure board and waterproofed with the LATICRETE International, Inc. Tanking system.

Floor was strengthened then overboarded with 6mm James Hardie cement boards.

Tiles, suite, fixtures and fittings from Clifton Trade Bathrooms Chester including a bespoke marble top to the vanity units 👌🏻 "nice."

All finished off with a subtle grout and silicone.

An absolutely beautiful room for a great family.

Last kitchen of the year completed on Tuesday for a lovely couple who have been trying to get a tiler willing to lay these tiles for the last 6 months.

Monster 1200x600 porcelain tiles direct from Johnson Tiles, laid seamlessly around the gorgeous granite upstands and splashback.

Tiles and walls prepped with Kerakoll primer and laid with kerakolls H40 white adhesive as advised by Topps Tiles Topps Tiles Trade finished in a stylish grout and silicone from BAL Tiling

What an absolutely amazing statement piece whilst being minimalistic and classy.

Absolutely gorgeous master en suite upgrade. Damaged boards removed and replaced with moisture board then area primed with Kerakoll primer and tanked with the system. Customer went all out with the marble tiles from Topps Tiles Topps Tiles Trade , these were laid with the recommended BAL Tiling adhesive then finished with metal trims and 10 grout and matching silicone. Tray and tap from installed. Room is now ready for Evotekk to work his magic installing the remaining fixtures and fittings.

One of those no job too small posts 😁. A pal had a leaky loo so piping chopped, fresh isolated flexi pipe fitted and it's good to go 👍🏻 jobs a goodun.

Cut out, repair and reseal job completed recently refreshing the shower cubicle and spot repairing trouble grout areas via my Milwaukee Tool UK mutli tool amd hoover matched with a diamond grout removal tool. Colour matching the grout to the original Mapei UK Ltd shower is now looking fresh and ready for many more years to come.

Another kitchen this time with the new range in from Topps Tiles Topps Tiles Trade finished with grout and silicone from BAL Tiling finished with luxurious dark stainless steel trims to enhance the look and finish. Kerakoll
