Summer Reading Challenge 2024 π
How marvellous, the theme for this year's Summer Reading Challenge has been announced. Last year, more than 2,000 completed the Challenge and almost 10,000 attended events. Will it be more this year? http://cwac.co/UK5OQ
A gorgeous spring day to find these beautifully crafted gifts in the Little Lending Library ππ Huge thank you to the very talented creator of them! Iβve popped them on the tree to dance about in the breeze! Lots of lovely books in the library so do take a look if you are walking by π βοΈ
To celebrate International Womenβs Day, the library is full of books by a range of wonderful female authors. Plus some wonderful donations for our younger reasons π Happy World Book Day for yesterday too! π

Libraries in Ellesmere Port are providing free activities and food in the week before Christmas. These will be sessions designed for those on free school meals in primary schools. A parent or carer must accompany the child. Please contact the relevant local library below to register:

Summer Reading Challenge is go!
One week to go! The Summer Reading challenge is back and launching in our libraries from Saturday 8 July with Ready, Set Read! This year's theme aims to keep children's minds and bodies active over the summer break, empowering young people to forge new connections with others and unleash the power of play, sport and physical activity through reading.
