Another massive game for us tomorrow as we welcome Shaftesbury Youth to Cairns tomorrow. After a really close game when we made the trip up there we’re hoping to put in a better performance.

With the first team at home as well you don’t need to go far for the best entertainment football can give you. Kick off is at 2pm

Good 3 points on the board today for our lads. Away to black horse in the worst conditions possible, but we got the job done with a 5-1 victory.

It’s another big one tomorrow down at Cairns. Our local rivals make the short 500 yard journey to visit us in the Chester & District FA cup. With both teams flying high in the league there’s Mo doubt that it will be a really competitive game. Kick off is 2pm so get yourselves down

Top of the table clash and a Blacon Derby all rolled into one. With both teams producing some fantastic results already this year this match is not to be missed.

With the first team in action afterwards when they finally get to defend their Cheshire Cup you won’t even have to leave Blacon for the best football tomorrow

Just a few days until our racenight.

We’ve had a great response from local businesses who have sponsored the races as well as donating raffle prizes and all of our horses now have proud owners.

All we need now is for you to get down to the Wagon on Saturday and join us for a flutter and a few drinks. We have some fantastic raffle prizes including a signed Michael Owen shirt and £250 worth of Doll Beauty products.

So make sure you join us this Saturday about 8pm. It promises to be a top night

We’re holding our fund raising race night on Saturday 2nd October at 8pm. Having held one of these previously, it promises to be a great night.

We’re currently selling horses at £5 per horse (you can still bet on the night) As a horse owner you have naming rights and if your horse wins on the night, as the owner, you will win a prize.

We’re also looking for donations towards our raffle so if anyone or any business would like to make a donation we would really appreciate it and we will offer the chance to advertise on the night.

As well as raising funds for our team we will be making a donation to club captain Adam Stenning and his fantastic cause, Saving Males through Miles so please dig deep.

After getting ourselves back on track last week with a fantastic 6-0 win we look to build our momentum again as we host newly promoted Upton JFC youth.

Massive game tomorrow at Cairns for the reserves. We host Unitor who are top of the league and only above us by 1 goal.

With us missing some key players it’s a perfect opportunity to show the quality and strength in depth that we have in the squad as we’re look to maintain our perfect start to the season. Unitor will also be desperate to maintain their so promises to be some game so get down to Cairns tomorrow to cheer on the lads

Another convincing performance from start to finish limiting Hoole to very few attempts on goal. Damien made his full debut and despite missing a penalty, went on to see the game with a brace.

Another commanding performance from the boys today and could have been at least 4 up at half time however missed chances and a lapse in concentration meant we went in at half time level.

However a change in tactics and we dominated the second half and goals from substitutes Aaron and Tyler rounded off another convincing win and it’s could have been more had it not been for a penalty save from the Helsby keeper.

We’re back at home again on Wednesday where we host Hoole Rangers who beat us preseason so it promises to be a tasty one

A fantastic win for the lads tonight against a very good Black Horse outfit.

We outplayed them from to start to finish, built on a solid defensive performance.

Chris Gear settled the game with a well taken goal but it could have been 3 had it not been for some close offside decisions.

A great performance to start the season to go into Saturday’s game at much fancied Helsby.

The support the lads had on the line made a massive difference for our lads so on behalf of the players thanks to everyone who took the time to come down

Tomorrow is the big day

We get our 2021/22 campaign under way at Cairns against newly promoted Black Horse who will no doubt bring a few fans from Heswall.

Although going out of the cup is disappointing the lads did the management team proud. Not only did they work their arses off for the full 90 mins, they kept themselves in the game against arguably the best side in Cheshire and matched them for a good period of the game.

Ultimately the sheer class and ability of our first team showed. Although we created a few chances that on another day go in, as well as some disappointing decisions from the referee.

But the positives far outweigh any negatives, if there was any.

The weather ruined what would have been a very proud day for the club as a whole showing just how talented both sides are.

Just need the firsts to bring home the trophy now.

Massive day for our club which sees our two teams go head to head in the quarterfinals of the Challenge Cup.

We have invited our under 5s and 6s down for training pre game so get there early and cheer on our future stars.

Not very often that our teams play each other in a competitive game so come down, and support the club.

We welcome Crossway for what promises to be a tricky tie for us and The firsts have reversed their tie against Upton JfC so they’re also at home

We are pleased to announce that we are bringing back our under 16s side!

We believe youth development is massive and we need that influx of players trying to break into our senior set up.

We will be holding opening training this Monday 12th April on cairns for a 18:00 start time. We will then pick our squad for next season.

If you or anyone you know would like to attend please tag away!

The team will be working closely with senior sides to progress.

This afternoon we traveled to Manchester to face the first team on Wythenshawe Amateurs.

Lads were incredible today for our first game back. Out battled, worked and reduced a northwest counties team to one shot all game.

Gutting not to keep clean sheet but giving away a silly set play.

Only been up a week!

We left them out over lockdown to give our kids on the estate something to do in these difficult times!

I’m sorry to the 99% of people who come onto our ground and treat it with the up most respect but the goals will be now locked and put away!

Absolutely livid!

Thank you to everyone who took part in our football card for the sponsorship of our away kit. The winner was Sarah Gibson and her beauty and Asthetics company. Shirts have been printed and look great. Sarah joined us this afternoon to hand over the shirts

A good away win for us today. We didn’t really get going and after falling behind we managed to draw level before they had a man sent off for a wild challenge on goalkeeper Jake Dean. Goals from Sam Davies, Kevin Garland with a drive from outside the box and a fantastic penalty from Zak Threadgold put us in control before substitute Paul Patterson grabbed himself a brace to seal all 3 points. Ill discipline got the better of Winsford towards the end of the game with them having another man sent off as well as their manager but the referee was absolutely correct with all the decisions. The win puts us right up there in contention with a massive game the following week against St Saviours away
