Either way in business some things work and some don't and this week Google are killing off the business profile websites they offered on google local profiles

Websites made with Google Business Profiles will be turned off soon

Starting from 1 March 2024, customers will be redirected to your Business Profiles when they visit these websites.

This is another prime example if you build your business on someone else's platform then that platform can change overnight and damage your business.

Always build your own website, OWN your own domain and use the other channels to build traffic to the website, then you are safe from facebook, google etc pulling the rug on you.

So it's Monday morning we normally have a team catch up review stats etc and notice that a lot of sites saw a drop in traffic mainly on the Saturday, all different industries but all seeing a dip so we can summarise they all probably watching the news or the crown on Netflix.
