Let’s be honest, the British Summer has not exactly... started.

The solstice is next week and the maximum temperature all day has been 13c at the time of writing. It’s a bit of a washout, which isn’t the feeling we all want in June!

1) Visit the marina ()
Tattenhall Marina is a bit of a well-kept secret but it’s absolutely gorgeous. Aside from enjoying scenic water views, a great little restaurant and well, canal boats, you can actually stay there in their luxury pods.
