Day one at Adipec Official 2024 Exhibition and Conference and what a start to the week!

We received a visit from His Majesty's Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Edward Hobart CMG as well as the CEO of the EIC Stuart R Broadley HonFEI and representatives from ADNOC Group, all of whom were interested to learn more about our leading and technology.

Our Cokebusters USA Team had a wonderful evening at the EIC (Energy Industries Council) World Energy Supply Chain Awards last week!

It was a great opportunity to take a break from work and meet with other companies supporting our vital energy industry. We learned a lot and would like to thank the EIC for their hospitality.

Four members of the Cokebusters USA team will be attending the Regional Awards ceremony in Houston tomorrow evening, which is dedicated to recognising and celebrating excellence in the energy industry.

Today Cokebusters is announced as the National Winner in the ‘Digital Revolution’ category of the British Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2024! This comes after the recent news that we won the ‘Digital Revolution’ category of the Regional Future Business of the Year Awards.

The Cokebusters USA team recently enjoyed a delicious lunch to thank each member of staff from the operators to the support personnel who all work hard to consistently deliver our world-class and services to the in a timely and cost effective manner.

Over in Houston one of our skilled operators, Ryan Bonzagni, received a glowing testimonial from a client he and his crew worked with earlier this year! It's wonderful to hear such positive feedback from site and we'd like to thank Ryan for serving our valued customer so well.

We have made great effort to improve and update our training procedures over the past 12 months and we are always impressed by members of our team who show a genuine work ethic and determination to do their job to the very best of their ability.

Many happy returns to these two key players in our UK Operations Team, Damien Robinson and Dave Smith Jnr, who recently celebrated their 40th and 50th birthdays!

We believe it can be invaluable for our office-based staff to attend site and gain a greater understanding of what our operators do in the field. This gives support team members an opportunity to meet face to face with contacts they had previously communicated with exclusively by phone or email.

Cokebusters Safety Manager commented: "Building strong relationships starts with understanding and trust. By meeting clients onsite, we not only ensure their safety needs are met but also forge connections that lead to lasting partnerships."

Our Houston team recently completed a site visit in Louisiana and attended a contractor safety meeting where they were briefed on the client's new onboarding process systems. Cokebusters Safety Manager Paul Kelleher, CRSP, SMS, EP, Operations Coordinator Lizbett Gonzalez and Operations Assistant Paula Plata all appreciated the chance to connect with our customer directly.

Liz Gonzalez said: "Our role involves coordinating site operations and ensuring our resources are optimally positioned to meet client needs. However, until now, we hadn't had the chance to experience the site environment firsthand. This recent opportunity to observe our operators in action was incredibly valuable."

Our Director of Technology, Nick Bettley, gives an insight into the real value our patented piping technology can bring to our clients in the energy sector.

Through our consistent investment in R & D, this as been evolving and improving for two decades. We are excited to break new ground each year; enabling us to bring innovative, robust and accurate inspection tools to the market.

Many of you will know last month descended on Houston, causing significant damage and leading to a power outage at our premises there. As the city began to pick up the pieces, the storm system shifted north and caused tornadoes in Illinois. One of our clients there was hit hard and despite recovery efforts at home, our team knew they had to act quickly.

Four specialised units and accompanying operators were despatched to Illinois, where they were able to help restore essential operations for our client.

This experience highlighted our team's exceptional preparedness and resilience. Mother Nature will sometimes throw curveballs our way, but thanks to everyone’s dedication Cokebusters was able to turn a challenging situation into a success.
