Shower enclosure replaced

3 year old new build with sub standard installation, tray moving on use. On removal, the tray was just sat on the floor, not as per manufacturer instructions……
1200 x 800 resin tray installed (as per manufacturer instructions) tiled with Altezza carrera porcelain tiles with light grey grout and matching silicone, square rain head rinser shower, 600 mm wet wall screen with 300 mm flip panel and tiled splash back behind sink
This is part 1 of the job just aimed so sort the shower out, part 2 is a future job to replace the sink with a vanity unit

Should have been a nice simple job this morning changing basin and bath taps and wastes from gold to chrome and they were dripping….. but stop tap would not turn off, so ended up turning the stop tap off in the pavement and fitting a new stop tap too

Was asked to remove and cap a radiator as a media wall was being installed, but managed to hide all pipework behind it and in a cupboard to install a 600mm x 600mm designer radiator on this section of wall

En-suite upgrade……
760mm shower enclosure and wall panelling removed as it was poorly installed and leaking, floor covering and hardboard covering removed Water damaged flooring replaced and 12mm plywood screwed to the floor, to strengthen and ensure it’s nice and flat for the new floor covering. Tiled and matching light grey grout. 900 mm pentangle enclosure installed giving a better showering area and making better use of the space. Square rain head rinser shower installed and plank effect Lino fitted

- Cylinder and tanks removed

Hot and cold outside taps fitted today, hot tap fitted with thermostatic valve to restrict the temperature for dog washing purposes 🐶 🚿

25 year old combination boiler replaced with new Worcester 36cdi compact, magnetic filter with 10 year guarantee. New double radiator fitted in hall, programmable remote room thermostat and 2litre mains expansion vessel fitted under sink. All flushed and inhibitor added to future protect the system

Programmable digital thermostat for optimum control. Expansion vessel fitted on mains water. All radiators replaced and additional radiator in airing cupboard with thermostatic radiator valves. All flushed and inhibitor added as per manufacturers instructions. External brickwork tidied up and internal patched. Shower replaced, which involved partial tiling

Called out to a 15 year old combi boiler loosing pressure, after thorough investigation it was found to be the heat exchanger, parts still available but customer decided to replace it.
