Summer honey now available

Sorry at the moment we do not have any honey. The bees have not been able to get out as much and forage. We have kept on the honey for them and they have been eating their stores. We want to ensure that they do no starve so therefore we will leave them till the weather improves. Hopefully we may have some by the end of the month. Thankyou Mark and Marie

Fresh honey is now available. We have our honey for sale sign up along with our bee. The honey is in the hive at the front of the house. Still £5 a jar. We look forward to you trying our lovely honey and thank you for your custom.

Hi just to know we have been taking extra care of the bees, not taking off any honey due to the weather as they have been struggling to feed themselves and food stores are very low. We will not be expecting to sell any honey until end of June at the earliest thats if the weather has improved. Thankyou for checking in on our site hope to see you all soon Mark and Marie

When temperatures in the winter drop below 50 °F (10 °C), honeybees retreat to their hives and form a winter cluster to keep warm—sort of like a giant three-month slumber party. ... But in the winter the male drones die off, leaving only the female castes: the workers and the queen.

Honey sold out
Hi we have taken down the sign outside as we have sold most of our honey but are keeping a few back for xmas hampers. We have a limited supply of hampers and are selling them for £20 which is £5 off to reflect the difficult times we are all experiencing at the moment.
We are also selling candles for £3 each if you want any let us know so that we can make them for you.

We would like to thank you for your custom and your honesty, the hive outside for collecting and paying for your honey has been a great success.

The bees are having a long rest and hopefully will be working again in the spring. Look out for the sign going back up next year.
