🌟 **A Heartfelt Tribute to Beryl Favell** 🌟

We are deeply moved to share that we’ve received a generous donation of books in memory of Beryl Favell, who has sadly passed away. During her time in Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS FT & Royal Primary Care, Beryl found great comfort in our patient book trolley and looked forward to the visits from our wonderful volunteer Fiona.

In honor of Beryl’s kindness and her appreciation for the comfort these books brought her, her family has chosen to donate books to us. We are truly grateful for this thoughtful gesture and are confident that these books will help make someone else’s hospital stay a bit brighter and less stressful.

Our hearts go out to Beryl’s family and friends during this difficult time. Thank you, Beryl, for your generosity and for reminding us of the difference a simple book can make. ❤️📚

Expect limited seating and higher noise levels due to cake stalls, a tombola, and gift sales to raise funds for patient resources.

Don't forget we have a wide variety of patient support resources, covering dementia, autism and cancer.
The resources are to aid conversations between patients, staff and relatives, alleviate distress caused by unfamiliarity of being in hospital and offer information and support to carers, families and children.
