Attention all week day riders!!!
From Monday 20th - Friday 24th, the road from the bottom of Alton Hill is shut from the caravan site. If you come this way for your lessons, carry on into Littlemoor and take your first right after you’ve come through the 30 sign onto Alton Lane, follow the road past Ashover rock and turn right onto Bassett Barn Lane, this will then take you to the cross roads where you turn right again which will bring you in so we are on the left! Allow an extra 5/10 minutes on to your journey time if you’re not familiar with this way! Those who know the area better can take the shorter route via Tinkley Lane but it is a single track road and you may have to reverse if you meet anything! I’m sure they’ll be diversion signs up but they may take you onto the main Matlock/Chesterfield road! If I was a bit more tech savvy I could attach a map but I’m not that good😂Any problems just ring on either 07427575745 or 07832662106!

Desirables for the role:
Previous experience in teaching a variety of levels and age groups (shadowing and training by current instructors essential before handover)

We have a large riding school with a wide variety of lessons, including private and group, from lead rein to intermediate and children up to adults.

Hours to include Saturdays, and evenings or daytime during the week. Pay will reflect experience. More hours may be available during school holidays.

Just had one of our liveries say that traffic from Chesterfield towards Matlock is currently at a standstill still going up Stone Edge hill and has been for over half an hour, if you’re planning on coming in this direction turn off before and either come up through Wingerworth or go on Derby road and come that way. Any updates that we get we will let you know!

As we all know Christmas is coming up fairly quickly! So for those that are wanting to ride Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th of December we are asking that you pay in advance for the lesson, just so that we know what we are doing for the Christmas weekend!

Just wondering if there is anyone out there who has the time to hack Ellie out a few times a week (weekdays). Ellie does not enjoy school work so she would not be suitable for a child who wants to ride in the indoor school after school. Must be a confident rider as she is frightened of big traffic. Good to handle in all other ways and never naughty! Ellie is 14.2. She lives out all year so no mucking out etc required. Small financial contribution requested.
