With just over a month left we're approaching the half way mark for the Petition to Derbyshire County Council to Save local Charities and Community Organisations. With 800 signatures the council should have to debate about the decision to cut funding and refer the petition to the relevant Cabinet Member or Full Council for consideration.
If you can see the benefit for the host of services across Derbyshire then PLEASE put your name to the petition. You don't need to be a volunteer or someone who uses these services to see the impact they have.
We know the knock on effect that losing funding could have; don't let our vital community services diminish when they are needed most.
Sign the petition, and share it with others that want to stand up for the fantastic work we all do.

Time for a spring clean 🌱🌸
We're joining forces with Walk Derbyshire, Rykneld Homes, North East Derbyshire District Council and First Art to clean up Clay Cross!
A great opportunity to come and help clean up our town and get some fresh air 🗑🚮
When local residents and community members were asked what barriers there were to encouraging more people to walk, and get out and about in Clay Cross, untidy pathways and litter was one of them.
We know it's not just untidy pathways and there's still lots to do but the project is making a start so why not join in with the Clay Cross Community Litter Pick on Wednesday 10 April, 10am - 12 noon 🙌
