Curry night is back for the winter 🌶

Warming you up with a menu inspired by Indian and South East Asian cuisine, our curry night will take place on the last Thursday of each month starting with next Thursday 26th September!

Tables are available from 6pm and booking is highly recommended. Our curry night menu is just £25 per person and includes popadoms and sharing starters followed by your choice of a curry and finishing off with a home made sweet treat.

Join us for a big weekend in the garden!

On Saturday we have our end of summer fundraiser for ! There will be a day of eating, drinking and live music headlined by the talented Scarlett Black performing as Amy Winehouse. We will be kicking things off from 2pm but the pub is open from 12pm for those that want to head down early and grab a spot!

On Sunday you can unwind and relax after a busy weekend to the sounds of who will be bringing the afternoon vibes from 4pm to 6pm. Our Coastal Cabin will be open throughout drinks, ice creams and hand stretched pizza.

It might only be the middle of September but Christmas is just around the corner!

As the festive season approaches and the party planning commences, make sure to book your Xmas party at The Wittering.

Our West Bar is the perfect location for a get together with its own bar and seating area for you to enjoy. We are able to accommodate up to 25 people for a sit down Festive 3 course meal.

For larger parties or more casual affairs, we also offer our Festive Grazing menu for which we can accommodate up to 50 people.

Just one week to go!

Our end of summer fundraiser for is fast approaching. Our big day is being headlined by the talented Scarlett Black as Amy Winehouse and supported by an amazing range of local artists and DJs.

This will be a day of live music as well with plenty to drink and delicious food on offer through out the day.

We will also be running a photo opportunity with our Amy as well as a Pick n' Mix and Raffle. All the proceeds from these will be going to our wonderful charity so please make sure to bring cash with you on the day.

Autumn Supper Club: "Our Slice of West Sussex" Thursday 17th October at 7:00pm.

Join us this Autumn as we taste our way through the best of what our local area has to offer.

Taking our inspiration from the South Downs all the way to East Head, our menu will reflect the changing seasons and showcase the amazing producers that surround us.

The Wittering Charity Music Fundraiser for Heart on Saturday 21st September!

Join us for a day of food, drinks, dancing and live music all in aid of our wonderful local girl. We will be open from 12pm for food and drinks including Pizza, Doug’s BBQ, Fish and Chips and Carolines Dairy Ice Cream.

Live music will be kicking off 2pm to 9pm and the day will be headlined by the very talented Scarlett Black making her debut as Amy supported by Graham Fargher, Sarah Collins & Friends, DJ Stitch & Hayden Atkins & Trinity Jasmine Music

We will also be running a Photo Opp with Amy, Pick and Mix and Raffle across the day all of which are cash only with proceeds being donated to the total.

Quiz heads assemble 📜

Our monthly pub quiz returns after its summer break tomorrow. The quiz takes place on the first Thursday of every month and we only have a couple of spots left for September's quiz. If you'd like to book, call us on 01243 513811.

The return of the Sunday Roast!

With the summer holiday period fading behind us, it's time to slow down and settle in with a glass of smooth red wine and a hearty Sunday dinner!

We are very excited for our first Sunday roast of the autumn this Sunday 8th September and we hope that you are too!

Wednesday Night is at The Wittering! 🥩

Autumn is approaching and we are making a few changes to our weekly events!

Our sharing platters were so popular this summer that we are making Wednesday evening's in Autumn and Winter a Steak Night at the Wittering.

Head down for a mid-week treat and enjoy a Steak for 2 and a bottle of our house wine for £50.

Each Wednesday, and the team will prepare a mouthwatering steak for two with a selection of locally sourced sides and sauces for you to enjoy.

We certainly recommend booking and numbers are limited make sure you're hear early so as not to be disappointed.

With September only a few days away, we are all very excited for the return of our monthly pub quiz next Thursday 5th September! 📋

Assemble your teams and start revising as the quiz will be kicking off at 7:30pm and we will have 5 rounds of trivia questions as well as a hand out round for the table ⁉️

As per usual, our winners will receive a voucher for a 3 Course meal, 2nd place a round of drinks on the house while our 3rd place team will pick a topic for a round at the next quiz.
