Today is my last day of massages before I close for Christmas. Thankyou to all my clients over the last year, you've all helped me to carry on doing what I love.
I'll catch you next year from January 3rd onwards!

Here is a reminder of my opening hours at Knots & Niggles, Selsey.
I have very limited Saturday availability.

Please bear in mind that outside of these hours I teach circus and aerial skills so my hours are limited to allow for rest and recovery.
This is to ensure I can be on top form for your massage🙂

Dry Cupping - does it hurt?
Dry cupping uses suction to pull the tissue away from the body whereas massage uses downwards pressure. Tissue can feel "tight" as it is stretched through cupping and should feel relieving the longer they are left on.
I am happy to demo them at your next visit 🙂

A little about me...
Sports and holistic massage therapist by day, circus and aerial instructor by night!

I learnt ground circus (think juggling, poi, diabolo) back in 2008 after joining my universities circus club and then learnt static trapeze a few years later at a local circus school.

I then trained in level 3 Sports Massage in 2021 after lockdown paused my circus life and have since expanded my skills to include remedial (relaxation) massage, facials and dry cupping alongside other massage techniques.

Nowadays I spend half my week between instructing children and adults at an aerial studio near Fareham and the other half helping to fix and relieve your injuries and stress at the studio.

What are they and what do they do?

Ligaments join bone to bone - this helps with stability and keeps those bones in the correct place.

Tendons join bone to muscle - this helps you move! Tendons pull the bone (with the help of muscles) to help you bend, walk jump, etc.

So look after them both as they are important 😉

Drawing the scapula down and inwards, create space between your arms and ears. This allows you to use the lower traps to hold your weight, protecting your shoulders from strain.
