A murder investigation has been launched following an incident at The Dolphin and Anchor pub in West Street, Chichester, last night.

Despite the best efforts of police and paramedics, a 57-year-old man from South Yorkshire was sadly pronounced deceased.

One man has been arrested on suspicion of murder; a second man has been arrested on suspicion of affray.

Lashaun ‘Jay’ Kwatia took a man to a house in Bognor and stabbed him with a screwdriver over a £3,000 debt.

His victim managed to send desperate WhatsApps to his Dad, who raised the alarm.

Kwatia was arrested, and also found to be running the ‘JAY’ county drugs line.

Last week he was jailed for 11 years for blackmail, Class A drug supply and ABH.
