Our Year 12 students participated in our new Sixth Form Enrichment Programme today which is aimed at giving our Year 12 and 13 students a diverse range of opportunities to build up their personal statements and soft skills. Alongside this showing our KS3 and KS4 students what Chichester High School Sixth Form is all about!

The students above coached Year 7 and 9 netball and did an incredible job. Miss Honour Head of PE has said, “What an asset to have these students in our Sixth Form as such amazing role models and imparting their knowledge to our younger students.”

Mark joined us from Selsey Youth Dream to support our new Year 7 pupils to be creative and have fun during their first days at CHS.

Mark is supporting group sessions with pupils in our community, they have been working on some murals in school which help support conversations about; resilience, school, mental health.

We look forward to welcoming our new students to the group.

Just a big ‘Thank you’ for all the effort that went into making Y12 feel so welcome today. I was so impressed with their conduct and attitude today.

Tomorrow Y13 will join us, they will have an assembly with me tomorrow morning and then will be in normal lessons all day.

Hello Year 12 and 13

I hope you’re having an incredible summer and we really look forward to seeing you in September.

Year 12 are to meet at 8:50 on the Tuesday 3rd September for their introduction to Sixth Form morning.
This will start with an assembly with Mr Shove and Mr Freeman.

Year 13 are to meet at 8:50 on the Wednesday 4th September where they will have an assembly with Mr Shove and will receive a physical copy of their timetables.

All students are to report to the Sixth Form reception.

Year 13 students are able to access their timetables through Arbor.

We are really looking forward to seeing you all.

We've 2 spaces become available for our final sailing session at on Tuesday 27th August from 12.30pm-4.30pm. A chance to get out on the beautiful Chichester Harbour, learning how to sail a gorgeous keelboat with a small group of young people, and YPS staff. PADDLEBOARDING!
We have one space available for our free paddleboarding session on Friday 30th August. For further information and to register your interest, please email: [email protected] or call: 01243 839093. We will confirm launch 24 hours before the session (weather dependant) from either: Chichester Yacht Club, Dell Quay or Hunston Canal Junction. Suitable for complete begineers, all equipment provided.

We are delighted to share that our students here at Chichester High School have been rewarded for their hard work with a fantastic set of GCSE results. We congratulate everyone for their determination and positive attitude throughout the year.

This year, our students have achieved a commendable set of results, with many individuals excelling across a wide range of subjects. 70% of our students achieved grades 4 or above in English and 67% in Maths. We are also extremely proud of our Triple Science students who excelled with 72% securing grades 4 to 9 across all three disciplines, in addition to our French and Music students who each secured 100% passes at grade 4 or equivalent.

We would also like to recognise some of our top performers for securing an outstanding set of grades: Coralie Aldaz-Bryant, Robyn Bartlett, Jake Bishop, Alexander Darby, Rosie Davis, Andeea Gabor, Raluca Gherman, Shannon Hayhurst, Eve Hoskison, Alfie Jensen, Xander Lintag, Alyxx Rodmell, Megan Turner, Eva Williams and Hasali Kuruppuarachchi.

We are also very proud of the following students who secured high grades, above expectations. We would like to thank them and congratulate them on their attendance, determination and exceptional hard work: Annabelle Turnbull, Lucy Twine, Sofia Kyrychenko, Darcey Knight, Ruby Knight, Lily Clive, Keanu Boakes and Tom Boakes.

As our students step confidently into the next chapter of their academic or vocational paths, we are confident that the skills and knowledge they have acquired at Chichester High School will empower them to succeed. Our school remains dedicated to fostering an environment of support, encouragement, and excellence, ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

We would like to thank our whole school community, particularly our parents and carers, for their support this academic year.
