There's only a week to go until our Clarins Beauty School event!

Clarins presenter, Jess, alongside our Clarins specialist therapist team will be hosting two sessions on Wednesday 18th September 2024, with the first being at 3pm, and the second at 6pm.

The sessions will be showing tips and tricks for getting the best out of the products with a full skincare routine through to make up, with a focus on the brand new 9th generation Double Serum. We provide everything, so all you need to bring along on the day is yourself!

The sessions will be kept to a maximum of 8 people at 3pm, with an extra table available in the evening to allow for a comfortable experience for everyone.

As usual, we will have a selection of complimentary food available to see you through the event, as well as a chilled glass of Prosecco on arrival. 🥂

When it comes to describing Anthony's phenomenal contributions to the Q family, Chichester, and hairdressing in the UK, we don't think enough superlatives currently exist in the English language. 🌟

To say that he's a legend doesn't fully do justice to a glittering career spanning 6 decades, having started his journey in hairdressing at the tender age of 14.

By 17, it was rapidly becoming apparent that his was a towering talent, and he'd won his first of many competitions, both at national and international levels. 🏆

Fast forward to 1972, he opened his first salon in the fair city of Chichester, quickly gaining a loyal following of discerning clients. In 1977, the burgeoning business moved to its current home in the stunning surroundings of 37 North Street, where we've been ever since.

One component of Anthony's incredibly diverse skill-set is his power to inspire others, and help them become the very best versions of themselves. As such, training successive generations of hair stylists and beauty therapists has been at the very heart of the Q way, and we can't imagine that will ever change.

Anthony believes that part of his success is that Q has kept moving with the times. One of the things that brings him the most joy is the fact that over two dozen people who were trained by him have gone on to start their own salons.

We hope you have a truly fantastic day, Anthony! You've more than earned it ...we simply couldn't have achieved the incredible successes of the last 52 years without you! 🫶

WHAT A DAY! 😍❤️

QFest 2024 was everything we hoped it would be! With learning, laughter, and smiles in abundance (and perhaps the odd tear of joy), it's really no surprise that our annual get-together has become such an important fixture in the calendar.

It's a gathering of the teams from our Chichester, Midhurst and Donnington salons, and an important opportunity to reflect on the previous twelve months, celebrate our achievements, and look forward to the coming year! 👍🥂

In the beautiful surroundings of the Harbour Hotel, the Q family learned from Katie Greenwood about an incredible new Clarins product range, as well as how to get the very best from the über-powerful Meevo salon management system thanks to Tony Tremain. As a bonus, there was a phenomenal demonstration on how to keep relaxed and supple when on their feet all day from our great friend, Françoise Drew.

As many of you will already know, we're dog-lovers through and through, so it was a truly special pleasure to raise over £500 for the wonderful folk at Canine Partners on the day too. 🐾

Once again, the dynamic duo of Colin Read and Trevor Shepherd manned the decks and kept the party going well into the evening, with their trademark selection of crowd pleasers! 🎉💃

Lucia's running the London Marathon! 🏃‍♀️

If you've ever visited our salons, there's a good chance you'll have met her; originally joining us as an apprentice, she's been a key part of the team for many years, and our guests love her total mastery of colour and styling. 💇🏻‍♀️

On 27th April, 2025, she'll be taking on the challenge to run this time-honoured course, arriving to the hugest of cheers on The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. There can be no doubt this is a serious test of endurance, but we know Lucia can get the job done with flying colours! 🫶

She'll be tackling the 26.2 miles to raise funds for the vital work carried out by Macmillan Cancer Support, and to honour the memory her beloved step mum, Angie. ❤️
