The Aldingbourne Country Centre (ACC) is a social enterprise centre and visitor attraction that offers lots of family friendly activities. The Centre has an Open Farm, Café, Woodland Activity Area, Mini Golf, Garden Plants, Craft Items and much more and is based just off the A27 between Chichester, Bognor and Arundel at PO18 0JP. Teamwork made the dreamwork yesterday. Fantastic group effort on the Cafe Garden. Should be a lovely spot in the summer when finished. Big final push today before we hand over to the Site Maintenance Team

We had a great day meeting the stars of TV's Kitchen Impossible series, when they came to help us out with our own Food 4 Thought event! Sam and Annalie told us about their experiences on the show that followed people with disabilities being mentored by top chef Michel Roux Jr and finding paid work. They told us about their employment experience since and helped give us confidence to try new things ourselves. Sam also enjoyed his tour of our farm and meeting our animals! Our friends Tom, Andrew and Jason all had paid jobs at the event which went really well!!
The Performing Arts team did a singing show for us. They have been working hard with singing tutor Jo. They are now working on new songs for a show in May/June
Christian went to a meeting with Rolls Royce, who have us as their nominated charity this year. Doesn't he look smart!?!
The ACC Performing Arts team did their Wonderland Celebration show under the Oak Tree for an invited audience this week. Well done for all that went into preparing the show, props and costumes, it was enjoyed by all. The group plan to do more shows later in the year (hopefully it will be warmer!)
The ACC Maintenance Team are building a new accessible path and gate into the Memorial Garden so that everyone can get in there easily to enjoy it🙂We plan to have an official opening later in the year
On Wednesday 13th March, a group from ACC went along to The Jim Green Challenge at The South Of England Showground in Ardingly. Unfortunately no big trophy to bring home again this year, however we did bag one win! A big congratulations go to The Creative Arts Studio, who won a first place trophy for their Model of A Sheep 🏆🐑
The Jim Green Organisers also had the pleasure of welcoming HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh at the challenge this year, as she is the SEAS President for 2024. We all had the chance to meet HRH, Dean showed off Creative Arts’ winning sheep and Eloise was asked to present Her with a posy 😁 Big well done to everyone involved!
Fantastic visit by Theatre Inc today, who gave some amazing performances for us from their latest show. Very inspirational for our Performing Arts group.
Fascinating animal discoveries today with Rebekah's Leaf Insects at ACC. Some of us were afraid at first but we soon conquered our fears and made new friends
We went to tournament at Sussex FA HQ. A great fun and sporty day meeting friends and playing the game we love ❤️ ⚽️

With Children In Need just around the corner. Debbie has created a lovely bag featuring Pudsey Bear in her sewing session at Aldingbourne .
The annual Aldingbourne Halloween Spookactular was another great success😃The ACC Performing Arts team hosted a great dance party at the entrance to the woods and the Wizards Team conducted a bat hunt around Count Kamula's castle. The Events team did a great job setting up the woods, this year with an added haunted church and extra monsters!
We had a great football match with our friends at Ferring Country Centre. A good time was had by all in a very closely contested away leg
The ACC Team have been busy giving the bird hide in our Memorial Garden a new lick of paint - ready for it to turn into Count Kamula's Castle for a few days in the October Half Term!! 🧙♂️🧟♀️🧛♂️🧛♀️🧝♂️🧟🧟♀️
The ACC Team have done a great job clearing parts of the Members Garden so we can get to and use the Exercise Equipment again - Well Done.

John has been busy with the Adopt A Station team making our plant displays look lovely all across the county
Look at this Motley Crew of Pirates from the recent Aldingbourne Trust International Pirate Day. We had great fun singing, dancing, playing games, making pottery, story telling, BBQ'n and searching for buried treasure. Ah-harghh

A great afternoon at Aldingbourne with our cooking group! On the menu today was "Spaghetti & Meatballs".
Joanne has been sewing again and completed her lovely "Duck" cushion that she made to sit on her bed.

We have recently received some donations of craft materials from kind members of our local community to use at Aldingbourne . Sophie made some beautiful thank you cards to show our appreciation 😊
