Established in 1999, we offer one-to-one Yoga Therapy sessions, 550 hr Professional Teacher Training in Yoga Therapy, Mindfulness for Stress and Mindfulness for Health conditions.

Yoga therapy goes much deeper into practises where you will learn much more about how your body works and how to make subtle adjustments during the day, off the yoga mat, to maintain health and wellbeing.
You will be guided by a professional yoga therapist. Yoga therapy is a 2 Yr postgraduate training course after having worked as an experienced yoga teacher
We will be strengthening core stability muscle groups through key yoga postures, creating resilience in both mind and body for the winter months ahead
We will be releasing tight muscles that restrict the body to realign itself naturally
We will practise energy enhancing sequences to maintain energy levels throughout the winter months ahead

The next 550 hr Yoga Therapy Training course to become a professional yoga therapist starts on 25th March 2023 in West Oxfordshire or on line if you choose. If you are a yoga teacher and would like to contribute towards empowering people to manage their health as naturally as possible, then this may be the course for you. We believe in using ancient practices of yoga, connecting with nature whilst listening to natural cues. We respect the latest scientific evidence to understand health and wellbeing especially whilst living with a chronic health condition, chronic pain and or stress.

This wonderful group of trainee yoga therapists have now completed their 550 hr professional training in yoga therapy through Yoga Focus which ended at the wonderful Mandala Ashram in South Wales. They have just one more final stage of submitting their portfolios to be marked by outside assessors and then they will be qualified professional yoga therapists contributing to valuable health services to empower people to manage their own health naturally where ever possible.
It has been an huge privilege to lead this journey for them, especially with the trainees valuable individual knowledge and experience delivering yoga therapeutically. We have also been blessed with fantastic guest trainers on the course and Vicky Arundel our excellent MSK and chronic pain trainer.
The Health service needs yoga therapy more than ever and the NHS are already advertising full time yoga therapist posts. It is an exciting time to train to become a yoga therapist.

After 18 months of creation, I'm really pleased to have started the first module 'Essential Skills of a Yoga Therapist' of the 550hour Yoga Therapy Training Course.

There are still some places available for the next training course in FOUNDATIONS in YOGA THERAPY starting on 13th NOVEMEBER 2021.
it is a modular course with six training days on physical and mental health conditions and six seminars on anatomy and physiology pertaining to medicine.
We are holding a Q & A session on Wednesday 20th October for any questions you may have.
The training is run through The British Wheel of Yoga and there is a 'gateway' to the Stage Two, eighteen months training in Yoga Therapy where you will have opportunity to become a fully qualified professional Yoga Therapist.

It was a pleasure to be invited and to deliver a short introductory webinar for The British Society of Lifestyle Medicine to help health professional understand yoga therapy. There were many questions that arose especially how Social Prescribers could refer yoga therapy as a complimentary therapy for individuals suffering from chronic health conditions, particularly Long Covid, chronic fatigue, cancer, anxiety and depression, back pain, diabetes, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive conditions and many more.
