Installing Karta VR

If you have no idea what reframing 360 degree videos is all about then I guess this post won't be of any interest to you.
I use an Instaone 360 X2 360-degree camera and most of the time I leave the video in VR360 format, there are however times that I need to make "flat" video from the 360 degree video.

I had a Hard Drive (HDD) failure

For about the last week my PC has been playing up and my E: drive kept opening window to show me it's contents all by itself. As well as that I have had a bizarre dialogue box come up every now and again telling me the PC can't run this program and to contact the vendor.

The bizarre thing is that it wouldn't tell me which program it was.

The night time cramp dance.

I hate this dance, I hate it so much. There you are fast asleep then suddenly you are dragged awake by an unbelievable pain in one or more of your legs, you have no choice you just must jump out of bed and dance round the room shouting "F**k, f**k, f**k, f**k" (Well that's what I shout, you might choose different words).

They can't see me.

Something I very quickly discovered after going out on my own is that in a wheelchair in some situations you are invisible, well it appears that way to me, you're not actually invisible but you are hard to see.

This is something I just didn't think about until the situation in this video occurred.

I decided a few months back that I would start to make videos which show the good and the bad bits about being in a wheelchair.

Starting today I am starting "weening" off steroids, I have been on them since January, 20mg daily.

I haven't had many side effects like 'roid rage, I have had one, increased appetite and since Jan I have put on 10Kg :O.

I love Tenerife

I sometimes get asked where my favourite place is and the answer is always the same, up on Mt Teide in Tenerife.
I love it up there, especially at night when you are way, way above the cloud base, above the noise and light pollution in fact you are so high you are above the treeline and very few creatures live at that altitude.

Last night, I went out; out.

Because I am immunocompromised since the start of the covid pandemic I have been more or less in prison, a self-imposed prison inside my home with the exceptions being going out for medical appointments.
