Hey everyone! Long time since we’ve posted on here, in all honesty with running of .1.two, the tiny human and 2 hounds there just isn’t enough hours in the day but we’re still here & baking!

With Mother’s Day in just a weeks time we thought we’d better let you know you what’s on offer. Once again we’ve teamed up with to bring you a cake and blooms combo. 4 delicious cupcakes, 2 lemon & 2 vanilla along with a vase of seasonal flowers all for £30. Last night we had a fabulous evening at the celebrating 5th birthday💃🏼

It was a real honour to be asked to bake their celebration cake, they were one of the first local businesses we got talking to when we moved back to Lancashire at a local gin festival way before Brinscall Baker & .1.two were even pipe dreams

It's amazing to see how they've gone from strength to strength and it's been a pleasure to work alongside them as local businesses

We're looking for part time people to join the baker team down Four.1.Two

Tasks will include food preparation, manning the front counter, helping with keeping the cafe & kitchen clean and operational as well as aiding with the creation of fantastic cakes & bakes! Catering experience would be useful but not essential, there is variety of hours available in week days and weekends.

Perks of the job : discounted eats and drinks, the opportunity to receive SCA accredited barista training, food hygiene & operation training for catering & retail fronts.

Huge thanks to everyone who came down to see us & Sophie's Flower Pot down at Four.1.Two. Absolutely bowled over with the amount of love & support from people both familiar faces & new ones too.

We’re back at it again today 10am-4pm with a load of Easter themed treats so why not pop down and see us to get your chocolate fix

Join us this Saturday & Sunday 10am-4pm at Four.1.Two for our soft launch. We’ll have our usual bakes with an Easter twist, along with the oppportunity to try our new Danelaw Coffee & Sophie's Flower Pot will have flowers, all things foliage & home gifts.

This won’t be the full deal of what we’ll have on offer at 412 but it will be great for us to meet some of our customers both old & new as well as give you a taste of what’s to come.

This Sunday we will be the Totally Locally Easter Eggstavaganza in Chorley from 11am-4pm.

As well as there being lots local traders for you to have a mooch around there’s a fab fancy dress competition for the little ones & your pooch, face painting, fair ground rides, an Easter trail around town with Lancashire- Ice Queen Parties providing entertainment throughout the day. Who wants to join us? 🙋🏼‍♀️

So it’s about time we announced what we’ve been working on, we are super excited to tell you we’ve only gone & got ourselves a shop!

Sharing the unit with the fabulous Sophie's Flower Pot , we’ll be at Four.1.Two located on Blackburn Road, Higher Wheelton.

Along with now having a home for our show stopping bakes, we’re also going to have a full, specialty coffee offering & that’s just for starters!

It's a busy time at baker HQ for more than one reason!

We will have some super exciting news coming out over the next few weeks and first up is the announcement that Scott aka 'Mr Baker' will be joining FULL TIME at the end of the month.

Normally a lurker for all of our digital assets, helping hand in the kitchen, at events & delivery driver - he'll be taking on a much more customer facing, prominent role
