Today has been one of those days where I have had lovely friendly customers all day. Some stopped for a cuppa while they browsed and chatted, and it was lovely to be able to in the sun.

Can anyone suggest a pattern for a memory bear please? I would quite like a traditional bear that sits up.

The last of our four children finished primary school on Friday. I have kept back a red school jumpers and cardigan for them all and we are going to spend a weekend together making memory bear for them all with their jumpers. We want to put the school logo on the tummy of the bears. We have plenty of jumpers so quite a bit of fabric to go at. So I was wondering if anyone has a tried and tested pattern they could recommend?

I'm back!!! Did you miss me?

I have had unscheduled stay in hospital this week, so I am really sorry to anyone who has called by to my shop or had their orders delayed. Thank you to my amazing helpers who ensured that all orders have been dispatched now.

I was discharged on Thursday evening which was a huge relief as it was Leon's Leavers Service at school on Friday which I really wanted to be able to go to. Leon won the sports cup and we couldn't have been prouder of him.

So it's service as normal (ish) next week. I have a couple of hospital appointments but the shop will be open, and online orders will be winging their way to you.

Appologies for the radio silence this week from me and for any orders that are delayed. After a visit to the doctors earlier in the week, I had to be admitted to hospital. I am hoping to be discharged today, but it will be a few days until I catch up. So please don't think I am ignoring you :)

This is one of my favourite tops, it's quite casual because of the fabric it's made in and it's so comfortable to wear. Grace and me (more Grace than me) are taking a pattern off it to make it in more dressy fabric. It's still a comfortable fabric, it's French Terry, but looks great. We are making the top with the pattern fabric for the front and a solid red back.
