Happy September! 🍂 It’s time for a new move of the month, and this month it is Genie!

Turns out none of our instructors have a picture of an actual genie, but so many other moves transition from a Genie so we still have lots of those to share 😍

Genie is a great transitional move that conditions your grip strength in both knees at once so we’re sure this is going to be a strong month for you all! 🧞‍♂️

✨Timetable Update✨ We have 2 new classes starting on Sunday 22nd September with our new instructor .clare_ 😍

Some of you may have already met Jess as she’s been with Inspire as a student from our very earliest days. Jess has been poling since 2014 and qualified to teach this year. She’s a beautiful dancer in a range of styles, with a lot of competition experience under her garter belts – Jess will be starting teaching on Sunday mornings from Sunday 22nd September, with a pole dance class at 10am followed by a brand new 6-week beginners pole course at 11.10am (£63 for 6 classes).

💜 Pole Dance: This class focuses on teaching you techniques to flow and dance with the pole, finding your own movement style, linking moves and making them look effortless. We’ll be exploring a range of styles with and without heels, including floorwork movements and techniques, low flow, leg work, choreography, and plenty more. It’s suitable for all levels of polers, from the heels-curious beginner to experienced dancers - we have variations to cover all levels. We recommend that you have at least a few weeks’ experience in beginners pole classes before giving this class a try. It’s usually a good idea to bring shorts and kneepads if you have them, just so you’re equipped for whatever the class covers each week.

💜 Beginners Pole 1 6-Week Course: This beginners pole course is ideal for completely new starters, first timers, and people who have taken a break from pole and want to rebuild their confidence from scratch. Over the course of six weeks, you’ll learn the foundation spins, seats, climbs and sequences to develop your strength, flexibility and co-ordination. We welcome everyone - you don’t have to feel like you’re already fit, strong or a certain body type to start! You can even wear leggings instead of shorts for the first week if you want to, while you get to grips with the basics.

This month we let our Inspire community WhatsApp decide on what we should do for our move of the month for August, and Shoulder Mount won by a landslide🏅

Shoulder Mount is great as both an individual move as well as a transitional move into other shapes 😍 We can’t wait to see what you achieve with this one!

We’re so excited that Cherry is going to be returning to Inspire in October to teach workshops 🍒🧡 We’re even more excited to be able to offer a guest workshop for the aerialists this time too, as we know that workshops are often quite pole-focused! 😍

Cherry is a really fun teacher and her workshops were fully booked last year, so we hope to get a great turnout this year too. You can learn some of Cherry’s favourite aerial hoop combos at 2pm, and get all kinds of sensual in the pole workshop at 3.45pm✨

Each 90 minute workshop is £45 individually, or you can buy the Active Cherry 2-Workshop class pack for £80 and use it to book onto both, saving yourself £5 per class. Buy the class pack before booking onto the classes, then use it to complete your registration on each workshop 🤗

It’s the 1st of July and that means we have a new move of the month…and this month it’s 🥁🥁 SUPERMAAAAN!

A few more of our students absolutely SMASHING brass monkey month 😍😍

THIS SUNDAY we are bringing back our highly requested Bring A Partner Workshop 👯‍♀️ AND there are currently only 2 spaces left so be quick! 🏃🏻‍♀️

In this 90-minute special pole workshop, bring your partner or your bestie and put them through their paces! If you’ve ever wanted to pole with your partner, see what they can do, or just get them to give it a go to see how hard it can be, this is the workshop for you! 🤭

The workshop costs £25 per pair - so the one registration covers both you and your plus-one.

This workshop will cover conditioning, basic spins and seats, and build from beginners tricks upwards to see where everyone is at. We may even get to try some doubles! ✌️

It's only Day 2 of Brass Monkey month at Inspire Studios and already 3 of our amazing intermediate students have nailed their first ever brass monkeys, all from genie entries 😍😍😍 amazing work and 💪🏻👏🏻

It’s showcase day tomorrow!!!🎉🥳 Who is excited?!

The show will start at 6pm. On the day, performers are welcome to arrive from 3:30pm and to use the space until 5pm.

Guests are welcome to arrive from 5:30pm. Please feel free to bring drinks and snacks with you to enjoy during the show!

When the show is finished, we will be going out for drinks to celebrate in Cirencester and everyone is welcome to join! 🎉

✨Timetable Update - Two new classes!✨

💜 Starting from Tuesday 7th May, Chan will be teaching a new Beginners & Improvers Aerial Hoop class. In this class, you’ll work on developing strength, flexibility and a range of skills, tricks and combinations in and around the hoop. You do not have to be strong to start - we can help you get into the hoop whatever your strength level.

💜 From Tuesday 14th May, Caitlin will be teaching a new Flexibility class! This targeted flexibility class is suitable for all levels, with no previous experience required. You do not have to be bendy, or an existing pole or aerial student to attend this class. These sessions will focus on a different body area each week, and look at a variety of active and passive techniques to help you safely increase your strength, flexibility and range of motion to achieve your goals and dream moves.

💜 The flexibility classes will also be recorded! Book on to the RECORDING ONLY session to receive a link via email to the recording of this week’s flexibility class. The link will be valid for one week. The recording costs £6, or can be booked using your memberships and class packs if you have credits to use up.
