Pilates & Yoga Studio in an idyllic Cotswolds location... The Whiteway Studio, Cirencester, is in the heart of the Cotswolds.
It lies in a secluded and idyllic setting, a ten minute scenic walk across the Abbey Grounds from Cirencester’s Market Square, making it a perfect location for our purposes. We occupy two former farm workshop units. Now completely refurbished to create our purposed-built facility with our light and airy exercise studio, two treatment rooms and dedicated parking.

This episode takes us through the nail-biting lead up to the first to finish in Thessaloniki – a battle between lead riders Christoph Strasser (001) and Robin Gemperle (003). A true showdown of route choice, preparation, resourcefulness, and sheer determination. Race Reporter, Hannah Larbalestier, is waiting for them at CP4 with the rest of her team and gives us some insight on the ground before we hear from the lead riders themselves.
Further back, the mixed emotions that come with riding the TCR are on full display, from TCR veterans to riders having their first ever race. Canadian Lisa Nemetz (095) tells us of racing to CP2 before closure, and Joanna Ruminska-Pietrzyk (099) and Nicky Shaw (142) are loving the Balkans, while Robert Müller (197) is still not feeling himself. Lisa Pfeiffer (183) offers us insight into the mental strength it takes to continue riding outside of General Classification, and overcoming disappointment.
The contrasting highs and lows of the Race are in full expression.

Lost Dot, organisers of the Transcontinental Race, are pleased to announce Christoph Strasser (001) as the winner of TCRNo9.
Winning one Transcontinental Race is not easy. Winning back-to-back editions across two of the most contrasting routes in the Race's history is testament to Christoph's all-round ability.
As a rider with a self-proclaimed weakness on both off-road and mountainous terrain, TCRNo9 could have exposed any shortcomings in his preparation or the ex*****on of his race strategy. Instead, Christoph has shown himself to be unshakable on almost any terrain Europe throws at him.
With the possibility of becoming the first person to take three consecutive wins, will he return for TCRNo10?
