Early start tomorrow, one of my favourite events, Barnsley Village Festival. The weather looks good, so time to meet lots more lovely people and show them the beauty of glass jewellery.

Busy making today, much better than being in the shed on a cold damp day. These are a splash of sunshine though!

If anybody would like to understand more about Lampwork and the processes and techniques involved I will be speaking to the Kemble WI on Thursday. 3pm at The Tavern.

All set up at the Great Tythe Barn Tetbury. Possibly the longest table I've ever had.

A chilly walk across the frost to the shed this morning, but worth it 😁, I am very pleased with this one. Spectacular 3D with the murrini floating above the fossil ribs, well worth the slow and careful melt.

This one should be quite different and sounds like lots of fun. Looking forward to Sunday!

I finished this one last night. A lovely pop of fresh colour.

All set up at Alvescot. There are some beautiful things on the other stalls too. Looking forward to meeting lots of new people.

Then there will also be this one! Entirely new to me, so a lovely opportunity to meet new people. A busy week ahead preparing then 😊

I will be sharing updates and posters as we get closer to each, and obviously a few pictures of new creations 🤩. There is nothing more inspiring, than the upcoming possibility, of somebody else loving the item you made.

I am very much looking forward to this!! In fact I've spent all day in the shed working on new ideas.

My beads and I will be there ready greet all the visitors with a splash of colour, and I am sure it will be a wonderful day. Always such a lovely atmosphere. Let's hope for good weather again this year 🤞🤞

The kiln fairy was kind again last night 😍

One of those magic beads, not at all what I planned to make, but with a little, "I could do that," and "What if I use this?", it has turned out a treasure! And yes it is supposed to have a large bubble in the middle.

A new simple bracelet style. What do you think? Sterling silver tube beads framing a handmade lampwork bead. It feels very comfortable!

I am really excited to be having a stall at Barnsley Festival on Saturday. It is always such a happy friendly event and the gardens are spectacular!
