So, today we have been very busy repainting the outside of the pub. The difference has made the place look so much brighter and it looks 100 times better. We are well on course to our opening night and things are now really taking shape. Artisan Building Company have worked so hard to get this done and make it look 100% inside and outside. Just under 3 weeks to go now and we will be open and ready to welcome everyone in!

And It's done! Looking pretty seamless 👏 Just the internals to finish off. 🔨

If anyone asks why I started Artisan Building Company- this is why! It's an honour to breathe life into this old pub and give the local community a place to call 'theirs'. We are very excited to see it open ☺️

We’re all too aware that Interior Design is a luxury service but a service, we feel, that can still be accessible to all should you need it.

This year we’re putting on several events that start from as little as £20 to give everyone the opportunity to have a little interiors expertise.

The first of these is our Design Consultation Evening hosted by the lovely . For just £20 you’ll get the following:

* 3 hours of browsing fabric and wallpaper books
* a glass of something delicious
* a 15 minute allocated chat with Danielle from DRInteriors
* on hand fabric, wallpaper and paint knowledge
* the chance to order samples
* a goody bag

This is a ticketed event so if you wish to attend, please contact either or to book your place.

Roof on, cladding underway 👍🔨

Our second storey extension is going up quickly 💪 thank you to our fantastic team and 👌

🪚SHADOW PANELLING🪚

Intricately designed and created by us for a customer's office. I think you will agree it looks pretty smart. Thank you to my brilliant team, Matt and Doug, for pouring their hearts into this one 👍

🪵🪵 OAK BEAMS FITTED 🪵🪵

We routed a Roman Ogee detail on these with a drip underneath, sanded them, stained and oiled them. I think they look really authentic 👌

*Extension, steels, timber frame, with help from Sudmancarpentry ltd ✅
*Roof, insulation, tiling ✅
*Plasterboard and plaster ✅
*Use our trusted sparky ✅
*handcraft new oak stairs to replace the temporary ones✅

Conservatory rebuild. Solid slate roof, new windows and doors, increased wall height for a more practical sofa arrangement 👍

Replaced the old conservatory with a new insulated slate roof, raised the brickwork for a more practical sofa arrangement, completed with new windows and doors. A beautiful, yet sympathetic transformation 👌

🚨WE ARE ON BBC LOOK EAST TONIGHT AT 6.30!!!🚨

The double decker bus we converted into a school library with the help of Danielle Rumble Interiors is FINISHED!!! We couldn't be prouder!
