We are a small independent social care organisation offering
residential care for six adults with learning disabilities, located
in Fordham, Colchester. We have a large bungalow with a
beautiful garden and an outside heated swimming pool.

We currently have PERMANENT vacancies for Support Workers
full / part time and these posts are subject to an
enhanced DBS check and reference checks.

Support Worker rates of pay for shifts 7am to 2.30pm / 2.pm to 10pm
Monday 7.00am to Friday until 10.00pm £10.75 per hour.
Saturday 7.00am to Sunday 10.00pm £11.25 per hour

Shift leader rate of pay for shifts 7am to 2.30pm / 2.pm to 10pm
:Monday 7.00am to Friday until 10.00pm £11.50 per hour
Saturday 7.00am to Sunday 10.00pm £12.25 per hour

OK here we go a catch up on all things good we have been doing at The Conifers !

Family and Friends day today at The Conifers, here is the ham that Stevie's made for today .... and we have wonderful Vegan tarts, salads and much much more.....looking forward to see you all... if your a last min visitor, its at 1pm today but please call us if you would like to join us....

I think we've fixed it ... with many many hours work and many pennies we have found the leak... Thank you Ja and Swimming pool man Lee. Now to relay the slabs and heat the pool ... hopefully working in a week or so !! Fingers crossed .

We really need help with fixing our swimming pool at The Conifers… care home .. we have a leak .. we think it’s filter or piping but we need a pressure test so we need someone who really knows what to do and has the equipment… our usual contractor cannot come out until the end of August !!
The weathers great.. the clients are desperate to get in the pool .. but at the mo we can’t open it !!
